I found if you record yourself playing you may get a surprise how bad you sound☺️Your recording will expose any weaknesses especially tuning,phrasing and technique!.
I thought I was pretty good until I recorded myself and found out I was anything but!.
What you imagine you sound like and reality can be very different!.
This was the biggest insensitive for me to be more aware of what I was producing and I can hear how I’m improving or not as the case may be!.
