I know, right? I'm honestly shocked!!! 🤯... It's mostly generated by Entangled, but I've picked up a number of subs from Enchantment and Alone at Last With You as well. Apparently electronic pop and uplifting chillout trance are popular. Who knew? 🤣... Somehow, I got lucky with Entangled breaking through the algorithm.

That felt like the longest buildup to a trance song ever, but the trance song never happens. I dont know what to feel about this but maybe remove the trance tag please? Thanks
Edit: This isn't progressive rock or psychedelic rock either, why are you doing this? This is spam.

Well, look, if it's not your cup of tea, I get that, but with all due respect, you're just wrong. ... Maybe you're just used to modern uplifting trance and electronic dance music?? The first tag on here is Psytrance--aka Psychedelic Trance, which can be heavy, dark, fast, and moody. And you may have noticed that Trance is in the name of the genre.
Music has a tendency to be subjective, but I tagged it with all the tags which are broadly applicable. Have you ever actually listened to 1970s electronic psychedelic trance music by Progressive Electronic and Prog Rock bands and artists ranging from Pink Floyd to Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream? How about some of the music produced by bands and artists like Can and Neu! and Jean Michel Jarre? Hell, there are even hints of Vangelis in here, and even Yes (Machine Messiah). ... And there are definitely a lot of 90s and early 2000s Psytrance elements here remniscent of outfits like Juno Reactor and Infected Mushroom.
Trance is a broad umbrella category, and that includes a lot of heavy, dark moody music. It's not only certain styles of electronic dance music and uplifting trance. Likewise, Progressive Rock is a very broad category.
Finally, spam is a word that applies to excessive targeted advertising.
Edit: I noticed that you're a fan of Terrence McKenna. So am I... I even had a brief chance to talk to him once when I still lived in the Monterey Bay area. And if anyone understood the Dark and Heavy side of the Psychedelic experience, it was him.

@@teslaschildren No no you get me wrong, in terms of trance, I literally only listen to psychedelic and goa from the early days, The Infinity Project, and stuff like that. Thing is, it IS my cup of tea, but it was definitely not what I would expect to find on any searches related to trance, and if I was looking for progressive rock I would be right pissed if all I got was a well crafted synth ambient that is full of open chords and unresolved movements, not that this is a bad idea, it creates a strong tension, like watching a spacecraft in orbit descend from apoapsis to periapsis and the massive speed gains and altitude losses, or the pucker factor of landing literally any kind of air vehicle manually. Trust me, as a musician I can definitely hear that it is an adventurous and well made piece of electronic music, but I was also dealing with a sad GF that never got any drop to kick into a dance to, which we both thought was going to happen. It was an amazing case of musical trolling, if intended as such.
Edit: I can totally relate to your opinion about McKenna btw :D And my comment was a bit aggressively worded, in retrospect.
Edit 2: The Addendumening: I normally listen to very heavy music, trance is mostly a passion I share with my GF and my friends because it is what is easiest to find a party for, and it sounds great, I love when people sample McKenna in psytrance lol

@@homeopathicfossil-fuels4789 Lol! Fair enough! ... Thanks for clarifying. ... Tbh, when it comes right down to it, a lot of my tracks are such hybrids, it's hard to pin them down to a specific sub-genre. That's when I throw up my hands and just tag all the related genres close to it.
Edit: I do have a lot of other tracks that are much more danceable.

@@teslaschildren Awesome thank you much! I think I can relate to that, I made some tracks a few years ago I couldnt tell the genre of either. My current project is literally an experiment in fusing two genres that are popularly viewed as incompatible on a deeply cultural level. Namely (martial) industrial / power electronics and psychedelic trance. Working with bespoke synth and my stubborn hackyness these days, if I ever get the money I'll get a proper rack of analog synths and drums and create some mind expanding op-amp powered noise!
