    What a jolly climax of such a drama when he finally recovered, eventhough in reality he had relapsed again externaly, what a tragedy

    Sir Nigel Hawthorne, an amazing actor, playing a King, of regality and power, still reminds me of a humble civil servant who has absolutely no power over his Minister and future Prime Minister but has the cunning brain and excellent command of the English language and his profound exegesis of the law to achieve power. 😂

    those "grandchildren" on this movie could be illegitimate children of prince William, his third son. The only surviving legitimate grandchildren while king George III still partially healthy was princess Charlotte.
