    • @neeraj563

      @@ramyarmishra1011 It is difficult but doable. For 2 weeks avoid gluten related food and see results. If it does not help, switch to fruit n veg diet for 2 weeks and see the benefit. If no help then go for blood tests of most sorts like Complete blood count, kidney profile, liver profile, calcium, iron, testosterone total(for men) Vitamin D, sugar fasting n post, thyroid profile(very important). Add more if you can think of, but this much seems enough. You will know where you are heading wrong and then correct it immediately. • @Queenbrieee
      @Queenbrieee Před 3 lety +6

      @@Calmrelaxingsounds169 YES I had to bring a chair into the bathtub so that I could maintain my breathing while showering. It has gotten a lot better than it was four months ago. But in the beginning I was going to the ER often because I literally felt like I was dying. And the breathlessness while eating is better but still a struggle. When's the last time you had your dosage changed? My symptoms got better as my endocrinologist increased the dose.... Do you know what your tsh, t3, t4, and antibodies levels are? I really appreciate everyone's feedback, it certainly helps to know I'm not alone and to know without a doubt what it's related to.

    • @Calmrelaxingsounds169
      @Calmrelaxingsounds169 Před 3 lety +2

      I would just get up to walk to the kitchen and Id feel like out of breathe and have to pause and breathe in deep. And when I do that, I feel hungry for air as if my lungs were not capable of pulling in air fully. Very weird. I had my levothyroxine dose increased 5 months ago from 50 to 75 and it took me 4 months to feel better. I had UTI infections and PID infections recurrent for all those 5 months....its like whenever my tsh rockets my life becomes upside down with regular antibiotic use and hospital visits. Its like having a chronic cancer condition but nobody understands it. I also had tremors and for awhile I thought I was getting parkinsons or something so I started taking B12 vitamins and eating eggs and meats ! I feel better now....more energy to exercise, less tremors, and the infections seem to have cleared but I am so skeptical now. My tsh is in the normal range . I had been on levothyroxine 50 for 2 years and suddenly that was not working for me and I needed a higher dose. What could that mean? Does Hashimotos just keep attacking your thyroid? Will this happen to me again?

    • @Queenbrieee
      @Queenbrieee Před 3 lety +5

      @@Calmrelaxingsounds169 My levothyroxine dose has been changed 4 times so far this year lol. I kept going back to my endocrinologist crying and begging for help because I felt worse than ever. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2011, up until December last year I had never experienced such severe symptoms. I was on 75 of levo in December 2020 now I'm at 112, and I feel like another increase is necessary but I'm trying to be patient. I just want to feel like ME again. Alive again... I'm no expert, but it's important to look at more than just the tsh. Hopefully your t3 and t4 are in a normal range, because if one or both are off but your tsh is normal, you can still feel terrible. I read that increased antibodies attacking the thyroid can cause you to feel worse and you may have to increase the dosage to combat that. Also I read that becoming gluten free can decrease antibodies... When you started to feel bad were their any diet or lifestyle changes? Were you consistently taking your Levothyroxine? I read giving birth or being in the perimenopause/menopause stage of life, which I think is between 35-40 years old, can effect thyroid levels. I know exactly what you mean, when I went to the ER I would always tell them that I felt like I wasn't getting enough air. I was breathing but it wasn't satisfying. They thought I had an anxiety disorder. My primary care doctor wanted to send me to a psychiatrist. These doctors definitely have some researching to do to update themselves on all the new studies and patient forums out there. I had the uti's as well🤦🏽‍♀️ Did you experience any allergies randomly? I'm glad the B12 helped you feel better. I'm going to start taking a good b complex soon as well along with selenium.

      Nick you should match if other symptoms also match because these 2 alone may not be just hypothyroidism issue. Get your blood thyroid profile checked which includes TSH, T3 and T4. Moreover recommended would be check CBC, LFT, KFT calcium, iron etc tested for complete knowledge in case its not thyroid.

      You are so right…The one thing the Dr mentioned which many others physicians do not tell their Thyroid patients how important when you get your blood test not just check for TSH but T3 and T4…I have had many times my TSH was good but my T3 was not…I have Hashimoto and OI Type 1….Both can go hand in hand…Plus I notice when I have more stress it does affect my thyroid with water retention and not just sensitivity to cold but to hot temperatures inside or out….I find the worst is not being able to handle the heat which causes my heart to go in attack mode and even at rest my pulse can go from 100 to 145….Also I have Long QT syndrome of the heart which I was told is more related to the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type 1….Another thing thyroid can affect your kidneys causing you to form many kidney stones…I have many lodged in on the left and right and they are not operable due to the quantity and size….All this to say again you are right these are common side effects of low Thyroid but the fact he mentioned T3 levels I was happy to hear he mentioned it.

    I had hyperthyroidism now I have hypothyroidism. I have brain fog everyday, anxiety and depression. It’s still hard to believe hypothyroidism alone is causing all these symptoms because of my anxiety i start thinking I could have other disease. I start thinking my insomnia killed my braincells cause I have a hard time concentrating and thinking. Its a misery. I feel like a robot. I haven’t been myself at all. I used to be so talkative now I’m mute.

    • @nishikaze
      @nishikaze Před 3 lety +2

      Hypothyroidism absolutely can cause all of it and more.
      Think of it this way. Your thyroid essentially tells the cells in your body to eat through a complex series of chemical reactions. If your cells don't get enough to eat they will not be able to function and will eventually starve. Your body, when under stress or when it has limited resources, will naturally focus of essential functions like the heart and lungs. Your brain is less important. Resources will go to sustain your heart and lung functions while your memory and emotional state will have less to work with. This is where the depression and brain fog come from in thyroid patients.

      Follow Rana hello! Well usually homeopathics take long to act and there is still lots of ongoing research to assess whether it really works or not. We would suggest you to take either iodine supplements or supplements that contain iodine (such as alga kelp) to stimulate your thyroid. If you already tried them then consult your doctor and start with levothyroxine 25 microgram and then slowly increase until your tsh levels normalise.

      There are actually foods that stop your metabolism from working as well. Like broccoli or cauliflower edamame and gluten. You can also take a probiotic. Only one that is scientifically backed up. They make such a huge difference is insane. I struggled for so so long and went through all these different tests and images and they can never help me find relief until one day I started taking probiotics and less than a week later my symptoms had gone away. The probiotic you used to have strings that align with what release you're looking for. They also have one that is specifically to restore and replenish the Flora in your gut and to help you digest what your body is unable to. It helps with regulating your system, and overall improves your mood, your energy and everything else because the that has similar nerve endings as the brain. It is insane how well they work. There are obviously tons of them on the market but the quality ones definitely work. Don't ever get the refrigerator ones because you never know how long they were out of the refrigerator before they hit the shelves. Also make sure to get ones that are pearls or that are blocked from opening prior to getting to where it actually need to go. Due to the acidic content, we can sometimes take probiotics and they will open before they're able to reach the intestine and do the work they need you. If you want I can put a link and you can check it out. I swear by those things, I even gave it to my Grandpa Grandma and dad and my father gave it to a few of his friends and it worked for all of them like insanely well!

      Go see a functional medicine doctore.They will do a thyroid Panel unlike a allopathic doctor. They like to give pharmaceutical drugs and tell you you need anti depressants and or pain pills. I didn't have a defiency in either. My t3 was low. Therefore I was deficient in thyroid .
