Ta Kris is owned by the Barracuda restaurant in St Julians I agree I miss the magic kiosk lots of happy memories going there
😀 thank you Steve 👍for share your trip to Sliema,🤗well I stayed at The Strand Hotel severel times there👌,it was a really good hotel with lovely roomes & food 🙏/ I also 👠💶👜bought clothes at Zara / I also went to the Black Gold Saloon in Sliema ,💃where there was good 80-90 music /😎 good memories from Slima (lol)
Sliema is a really nice place to go to, I spend a few days trips their when over.

"Magic Kiosk" started to look old and out of place - from memory it had awful food 🤔. Always liked Sliema, in my opinion 'tal- pepe' are lovely people ☺.,

Wow Sliema sure has changed alot since we last were in Malta in 2010! Its become so much fuller with restaurants, very busy indeed.Hopefully one day I can come back and visit.Thanks Steve.

I like Tony's Bar, great place to sit for a beer and lunch. I had missed the restaurant Ta Kris (down the alley) on previous trips, I will definitely check it out next time.

Steve what a great video!! Got excited when I seen the Boost Juice Bar, it's one of the most popular juice bars in Australia 🇦🇺 and can be found in almost every shopping centre here 😀😀 they make the best juice and smoothies

Hey Steve, enjoyed the walk about Sliema. I always use the facilities 🚻 in M&S if we need to go 😂 That empty restaurant unit used to be Cafe Cuba 🇨🇺 I’m sad that it’s closed, always enjoy eating there. The one in Spinola Bay is still open though. This one mustn’t have been doing so well? 🤷🏼♀️ That restaurant you showed us was well hidden up that little alleyway. Makes you wonder how places like that stay open. Thanks again Steve 👍🏼

When I visited my mom I would go to Ladyland to get her things she needed.
I don't like walking by the restaurants, it gets to crowded with people walking in both directions. I like walking along the water side across the street.
Shame they knocked down the old restaurant, best value in Malta that place was. Malta is still very expensive I see. Do they still do the drag racing out at the old Airport? If so you should do a blog, as I remember there were lots of old Mk1 escorts and alike. I was in Malta in the 90's.

Hi Steve i enjoy your videos a lot, but this video makes me MAD and SAD, i was born and raised on one of those street that runs into IX-XATT. Totally disgusted to what happened to IX-XATT looks so shabby and out of control it's a free for all,there's no consideration for pedestrians,they just catering to those who don't know any better how IX-XATT used to be.From your tone of your voice and expression i get the feeling you feel the same way.Keep up the great videos.
