Can’t be saying things like that mate. Rangers are a highly respected team in the Irish Defence Forces and not many know about the training they do it’s all private and confidential. But good idea mate.

Think about it, going through tight spaces with a large rifle may be more difficult then a simple pistol, it's not that they don't have one

The DF is chronically underfunded and underappreciated. It's not just the politicians in the Dail who have little regard for the military but also many ordinary Irish people who sneer at the DF and question its very existence!
And not forgetting the fuckwits who think signing up to a voluntary pledge to increase defence spending is akin to Ireland joining a "European Army". We SHOULD be spending more on the Defence Forces, a lot more. Ireland, as a % of GDP, is bottom of EU defence spending at just 0.3%. The EU average is 1.3%.

@@saggerias8519 Yes, I know it doesn't exist yet, but with the brits are out of the picture we can move forward with the plan, and if Paddy doesn't like it.... well there is the door or do they think their tax avoidance systems will work with them being outside the E.U. The only people who could possibly fuck this up, are the French, as they think they are great military leaders when they are not. So my little Russki friend do not worry about it.

Ireland should leave the EU and join up in the CANZUK alliance , Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, that will be the true economic and military super economy soon, True global presence and everyone speaks the same damn language! (Plus it would be great to have Ireland on the team for Rugby matches).

@@terrymcconville3659 honestly though that would probably never happen, and as someone who is irish I would never want that to happen. I am not anti british, I just don't think Ireland needs that. Thats just another union that would work against irelands interests
