Village of Pinehurst Historic Walking Tour

If you love history, you’ve got to stop in at the Given Memorial Library for the FREE little booklet, “A Guide to the Historic Village of Pinehurst.” The Village is a National Historic Landmark and this booklet gives you a quick overview of the Village’s history and a suggested short walking tour.
There are 21 stops at the early hotels, cottages, and commercial buildings that were an integral part of the early Village. You can read a summary of the building’s history and a period photo, then see the building in person. This self-guided walking tour takes 15-30 minutes, depending on how long you stop at each location.
It’s always possible (and recommended!) you’ll be distracted by the many shops, restaurants, and pubs along the way!
