Just had my BIGGEST MONTH as a Recruiter! Day in the life in my Recruitment Agency!

  • In this video, I'm going to share how I did my biggest month as a recruiter at my recruitment agency.
    Life is a roller coaster.
On one hand, almost exactly one year ago, I thought my recruiting agency business wasn’t going to last and make it through the pandemic.
On the other hand, fast forward to present day, I just had my biggest month in my recruiting career!!
If you were to ask me a year ago that I was going to have my biggest month a year later, I would have laughed.
If you were to ask me today what I did differently or what my ‘secret’ is, I would have also laughed.
All I could do a year ago when it felt like the world was falling apart was what I always do and have been doing since day one. Just show up every day and put the work in even if at times the future seems grim or uncertain.
What I did last month was no different than what I did the month before and the month before that. Whether my month was successful or not, that doesn’t change anything. I still show up and do the same actions over and over and over again. There’s no secret, it’s just having faith in myself and backing it with execution. Plan and simple.
Massive results don’t just happen out of the blue. They come from the compounding effect of small efforts made consistently over time. It’s easy to start something, but it takes a ridiculous amount of discipline, sacrifice and pain to stick to it through thick and thin!
Running any business isn’t glamorous. Honestly, all I need is a computer, phone & internet connection! No fancy office, perks or having a massive team.
If you ever wondered what it’s like to be a recruiter or what it’s like to run your own recruiting agency, please check this out as I show you a little behind the scenes with what I do every day.
If you enjoyed this and want to see more like it, please let me know as I enjoyed filming it!
Blessed and beyond grateful for my clients, candidates, friends, family, network and my overall support system.
Ok, now time to focus on making June a great month!
Having worked many years in the recruiting and staffing industry, I have acquired a lot of tips, tricks and insights in the industry that I want to share with you! Whether you have questions on how to better your resume, ace the interview, or learn more about the recruiting world and my entrepreneurial experiences, please feel free to subscribe and come along for the journey!

I love this video! I have a bachelor's and masters in management and wanted to get into recruiting, but I also saw that most opportunities required at least a year of experience. Luckily, a company finally gave me a shot and just hired me this week! I am super excited! Hoping to one day hit the tech recruiting side of things if the opportunity presents itself.

I would be interested in learning more about how you preset the candidates to the clients. Are you keeping your cards close and sending the resumes without names and info, or do you just fire off the real deal and rely on the contract to ensure no shenanigans are in play, like a client trying to hire from under you?

    • @RecruiterPreston
      @RecruiterPreston  Před 2 lety +13

Really depends on the situation but after doing recruiting for as long as I have, honestly I want to do my best and not play any 'games' or work with people that resort to shady tactics or play games. Recruiting gets a bad enough rep from many others who do this. Honest and authentic recruiting is all about building a strong and sustainable business well into the future and not focused on 'games' to get the quick buck! If a client tries to play any games or tactics, we can choose not to engage with them moving forward.

I really like how organized you are.
One quick question. Are your US clients taking into consideration working with software devs from the European timezone?
I am from Romania btw, I am working for a big US company, fully remote, and everything is great.
I am asking because I see a lot of good talent here. And if the client, project, and industry are on point, they will love to work for 100k-200k gross.
