Allo Allo is one of the greatest, we all need far more David Croft sitcoms in our lives.
"Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once!"
Lt. Gruber : "Are you trying to get rid of me?!" Then smashing a bottle of nitroglycerin 🤣
Poor old Rene, a decent man trying to do the right thing in bad times lol he doesn’t deserve all this stress!
do nit worry is no real . . ..
Great memories. In the last episode I was an extra. Great singing talent.
I love the railway part whit capt. Geering, trowing the BOLS bottle!!!!!
I have a bottle of Bols in front of me, a brand of Dutch pride. But they didn't make gin, only genever, which the English immitated and called gin!
In Dutch , jenever . With the J as in you , jenéver , and of course with a hard R .
@@koen8185 No, with the J as in John. A hard J. Who cares, if you can't pronounce jenever properly, you're not gonna produce it properly. Try Belgian Smeets Jenever.. Far better.
@@joerivandeweyer3056 Meen je dat nou , djenever , of op z'n Hollands , sjenever.... ?
@@joerivandeweyer3056 Anglo-french "J" doesn't exist. We civilized people write it as "Dž"
@@mustanaamiotto3812 phonetically it does, and it's very consistent, however the G is used to write that consonant sound. but it's prolly bc I'm Belgian, and we're basically Frenchy-occupied Holland back in the day, that we say "G"enever rather than jenever like the dutch
Thank you very much
Oooooh René
Don't you just hate it when that happens at your favorite fast food place?
It was a big bang
Is there a place to watch the entire episode? or better the entire season?
BritBox in the UK and USA
...it was only a loose arrangement!
I never understood this joke, someone please explain. X)
It's a frequently repeated catchphrase by Michele of the resistance (for security reasons) that apparently drives Rene up the wall. The humour lies in his reaction.
@@frglee "Bols"?
I know that "Listen very carefully, I will say this only once." is one of her catchphrases, but have not really experienced "bols" being mentioned outside this episode. :I
@@ThoriberoCaroli it's a play on "balls", the colloquial term for testicles...
@@uha6477 Hm. Thought it might be that- Just didn't seem to fit in.
But very well, thank you.
@@ThoriberoCaroli do you know how i can tell your a zooomer
