I am still getting into the swing of things with back to school and in finding out what she will eat during school / what containers are best for her lunch box! This video shows what my kindergartner eats at school each day of the week.
She has a nearly 7 hour school day with two snacks and a lunch time. :)

I over pack for my son too - like you, I'd rather him have too much than not enough. I work at a school and it kills me when kids come to school with only half a sandwich. I KNOW they have to be hungry still :(.
for the apples you could squeeze lemons on it to keep them from browning at school.

Thanks so much Nayla! That's so nice of you to say! I definitely don't think she appreciated the cut outs! haha She does; however, like when I draw her pictures and throw them in her lunch! haha my drawings are pitiful or I would show them in the video- maybe I will in future videos! lol
I think you are a great mom and she will always remember you doing those cute things so don't stop cutting out shapes and putting in notes..GREAT mom
Thank you for packing fresh fruit, kind bars and the good quality cheese into your child's lunches. I love school lunch videos, but I mostly watch them to judge the mothers. You, lady, are a great example of what to pack! I hope other Moms watch your videos and follow your example.

Better to over pack than to under pack and end up with a hungry little one. 90% of the time my daughter will finish what she didn't eat at school when she gets home.

Hey Evelin!! Thanks so much!! I have had a lot of questions about this hummus, apparently it's pretty difficult to find. I buy it at my local grocery store (Publix) and it's always hit or miss!! Goodluck finding it, it's awesome!!

They're at one of the american Air Bases - Military! :) My husband and I traveled to Holland (Amsterdam) once and it was beautiful!!
I know this is an older video, but wanted to ask about those waffles, I have bought something similar at Wal-Mart and found one of the 4 that came in the package was moldy (they were individually wrapped in foil packs)...have you had any problems?
Really?!? No I haven't - but I don't buy them a lot. We actually have a lot left, I will go check shortly and report back if I find any mold on them! That's crazy! I don't even know if they expire, I'm sure they will expire soon! lol
THE WADS I would just make sure you open the individual package and smell it (the moldy one smelled--off) and look it over (you couldn't see the mold on mine except for one really small area that looked more like a white fuzzy than mold) if it seems ok just put it in a sandwich baggie in her lunch, but that way you're not inadvertently sending a yucky one to school with her.
are you aleagic to diary? If yes did you know feta cheese is also diary
My husband is allergic to casein - so typically we try to keep the whole house dairy free to say away from temptation for him lol but sometimes I cave! My daughter loves feta but told me her classmates told her it smells so bad so she no longer wants to pack it in her lunch!! hah!
