With 40 Years of WrestleMania, the return of beloved match types with Special Referee, Casket, Gauntlet, and even a new one in the Ambulance match, I truly hope with these and the improvements to 23, I hope this game can truly be a memorable one for years to come.🤞🙏

AEW Fight Forver came out and promised us an unforgettable wrestling game experience.
And it delivered.. By making 2K devs put in more effort to release a way better game than AEW Fight Forever.

@@ewash1984 It's actually really good. But it's super barebones and they havem't added any content to keep playets engaged.
Some of the ideas for 2k24 were legit taken from AEW fight forever, so its basically just a way more improved aew game with a shit ton more content to boot.

@@ewash1984 its pretty much a tribute to the old school.arcade games like no mercy and here comes the pain. And the devs behind it worked on No Mercy themselves.
But they fumbled it so hard by making it so barebones. Customization is ass. Story modr short and the only other modes are exhibition matches with very few match types.
It has the best weapons of any wrestling games.tho and you can combo signatures into finishers which is hype as fuck.
Good game for a month or two, before the lack of content sucks all the fun outta it.

I’m holding my excitement until the game actually releases. It LOOKS like it could be great, but same can be said about pretty much every game in the trailers. Remember 2K22 was supposed to hit different and 2K23 was supposed to be the best WWE game ever.

5 counts and ignoring submission ropebreak will go further than ever with special referee matches. Imagine allowing someone to just hold on to a submission forever or quickly counting them out during a rope break.

@@motalkbadazs Bryan Williams did mention the ability to check for ropebreak as a referee in 2K24. Hopefully he meant for submissions and not just pin falls.
Not tapping it would be phenomenal feature especially for a character I create to be a Bad ass like Stone Cold.

If the "Undisputed" Story has you Dethroning the Tribal Chief then I don't think they will have a Defeat the Tribal Chief Mode since you already do it in the Career Mode. However, they could have a similar Bonus Match similar to the one they had last year with Super Cena or with Austin, Bruno and Hogan.
If the tribal Chief mode should be "Become the head of the table"

This is pretty much their first offical attempt at a next gen SVR. Without actually naming it SVR, and we are ALL for this. It's about damn time. It fucking sucks we wont have Edge. He left at the exact wrong time imo. We gotta take what we can get tho right? I am so fucking excited holy shit. This and the next few games are going to be absolutely amazing.

I'm glad we're getting a casket match as a playable match type and not being in WWE 2k showcase just like it was in wwe 2k15 glad we're getting special guest Referee matches it's about time glad this game has 40-years of Wrestlemania mode just like in WWE 2k14 hopefully we get good matches and not a random match like rey mysterio vs gran metalik in wwe 2k22 which was odd since that match wasn't memorable.

Hopefully they let us pick different Casket designs for the Casket Match. I'd love to pick that Casket From the Triple H vs Kane Match.
The only bad new is they still have the ejection meter for special guest referee matches. They definitely needed to remove that part of the match.
Hopefully theres the ability to custom the match and make it a hardcore match with a special guest referee. Its happened before. So there's no excuse to not have special guest referee hardcore matches
I wish they would bring back the chain wrestling and the limited reversals. Not mandatory for everyone, but rather as an option for those who prefered it, like me
The limited reversals can be cheesed way too much. You know someone down, kick them and force to waste a reversal bar. I’m glad they went away from that
@@MR.__G but then you have the CPU constantly reversing your moves. Some matches I have the CPU reversing my finisher 2/3 times in a row, delaying a match way too much. In 2K19 you had the option to turn them on or off, best of both worlds, makes no sense to remove that option
@@diogolex4883 so if you can adjust the AI sliders. Easy fix for you. I personally don’t mind them reversing. I like a challenging match
the camera angle is a welcome addition if it actually is implemented in game .. Had been wanting this for years since 2k took over.

Sounds promising. I am curious if they will have roster attribute increases and decreases for wrestlers that get a big push or all of a sudden begin losing to out talent over; similar to how NBA 2k do attribute increases and decreases when players have good and bad games.
The problem with great games under the 2K name are exactly that; they're 2K Games. One reason why Here Comes The Pain, Shut Your Mouth, WCW Nitro etc were memorable were because they're were unique all the way around. They were groundbreaking games with awesome names!

Which ones were in 2k23? I played a lot of that game and never realized there were wrestlers locked in behind my faction.
As much as I loved both 2K22 and 2K23, 2K24 definitely seems like the game that I’ve been waiting to see for years! My personal favorite 2K game is 2K14 and 2K24 seems like it’ll have just about everything that I loved about 2K14 with the 40 Years of WrestleMania showcase, a huge roster combining the greatest legends with the greatest superstars of today, bringing back awesome match types, and improving on GM Mode and Universe Mode. All that’s missing for me is something similar to 2K14’s Defeat The Streak mode, but instead of Undertaker, it’ll be Roman Reigns that you have to defeat. They can even have it where during the match, The Bloodline interferes and tries to screw you over. Can’t wait to get this for my Xbox Series X on March 8th!

2k22 and 2k23 were both mid honestly. 2K was barely putting in the effort to improve, but now it feels like they're FINALLY getting off their asses and making a good wrestling game again. Havent felt excitement for a wwe game like this since WWE 13

@@Daniel-jz9oi It's not the same without proper themes, Titantrons, entrance motions, and move-sets, though. CC can't fix everything. Plus, with Create-a-Referee and Create-a-Sign added to the Creation Suite, they'll definitely need to increase the logo limit or just make an unlimited logo option altogether.

MyFaction is sadly back again, but looking at how the Delux edition and the 120$ version are written, looks like they finally wil let you use your cards on free play/online. for context, the Delux edition comes with two exclusive Reah and Bianca cards, but it also says that this unlocks those costumes for them, calling them "Reah attire" and "Bianca attire"

I am so hyped for this game as soon as I found out that it would have a special guest referee and casket match I was ready. But finding out now that it also has an Ambulance match and a Gauntlet match I was sold its like here 2k take my money :P.
That feels like a small roster, I might just be use to having a ton of community creations added to my game but that feels light.

COVID was the best thing that could have happened to the WWE 2k series. After the dumpster fire that was 2k20, the developers had an extra year to put together a solid game in 2k22. 2k23 was even more polished and added a few things like WarGames.

Im pretty stoked for this game. If they give us deeper customization options for custom matches its basically a done deal for me. I remember back on N64 with some of the THQ games you could make a 30man rumble with pins and submissions only, it could make for a long match but it was fun as hell. I'm definitely gonna be picking up 2k24, i really believe its gonna be awesome.

the servers is honestly a big part of the online mode for the WWE games. The servers itself was kicking us out and cancelling our matches since WWE 2K22 and since then, it's been happening for a few years now. if it does this on this game with some or more new and old match types, then this will yet again will become a huge frustration 🤦🏽♂🤦🏽♂ @@Megastar_Tye

One feature I wanted for a LONG time was the ability to throw anyone out in the Rumble without those stupid minigames lile we had in HCTP. Glad we got it. But the other thing i always wanted to return from HCTP was hardcore matches. Like, I hate the KO system in backstage brawls. Just let me k!ll the dude ffs without the match ending abruptly. Also we need some open arena or something for that match man. I remember HCTP, we played Hardcode matches ALL DAY (and B&P matches but they aint coming back so we rest☠️) hardcore matches were entertaining. We need something like an open arena where we can keep moving from 1 place to another and like around 5 areas. AND WITHOUT KO. Yeah dont add elements like Helicopters and bikes and all if you dont want to (dont know why they shouldn't, mans literally had zombies in a game a few years ago😭☠️🤣) but atleast give that mode attention because its potentially the most fun out of all.

I hope they simplify the controls as they feel unresponsive with too many commands to remember, but also the waiting around of long sequences/animations to finish b4 u can even put a command in. Also the QTE window is far to quick making more luck to hit the right button in time. I think they need to arcade the game a bit more as the controls just feel unresponsive, slow, too many commands, confuding to remember the huge sequenced of moves.
Just simplify the moves to make game fun rather than a over bloated move set.
