- Last night Iran launched a major large scale missile and drone attack on Israel. Over 300 missiles and drones where launched from Yemen, Iraq and for the first time in history Iran itself. According to the Israel military 99% of the missiles and drones where intercepted by the Israeli Iron Dome System, Arrow 3 missiles, Israeli fighter jets and US involvement. From the few missiles that managed to went through Israeli air defense only minor damage was caused according to official reports. More to this now in this video.

It seems like swarm attacks by cheap $300 drones are the future of modern warfare.
It’s not sustainable to keep firing interceptor/AA missiles that costs 60,000 to millions of dollars, just to intercept $300 drones.

Maths a bit faulty - 1% of 300 missiles is 3 missiles, but it looks like more than that number impacted.
Anyway there were also interceptions by Jordan, UK and US even before it got to Israel. And the way Iran announced the strike would appear that this is a face-saving exercise for them and a warning shot. No fatalities on Israeli side and Iran was able to say it responded to the consulate attack.
Hopefully Israel will see that they came out ahead in the exchange and not escalate further, but Netanyahu hadn't been rational since the Hamas attack.

And that in the 16% remaining there's no drones or even cruise missiles which where only meant to be shot down to saturate the air defense system and make israelis spend a lot of ammunitions.

This attack didn’t seem to be that severe most just a weapons test to see what would happen and some managed to get through
It's still a pretty solid attack, in terms of number of missiles shot. If Israel had no defenses, what do you think would have happened? It's pretty much a war declaration, despite being a retaliation for the Israeli strikes.
@@Bullshlaha Iran said they weren’t targeting any civilian areas but used the drones as a distraction. In a video there’s a large number of them flying away from Israel but their actual missiles were aimed at military targets and bases but mostly just an airfield that wasn’t very severe
It was a very thought out response to the embassy bombing, by using slow flying drones they were just making a point more than anything else.

Iran has been messing with Israel through its proxies for years and knows very well their defensive capability. This at tack was to save face in the eyes of the world and especially its people and it didn't even employ Irans best missiles. The attack pretty much did what it was meant to: retaliate, show force and probe their defenses along the way.

This was an attack on the air defense missile stockpiles. And a win at that. Iran ofc knows that the slow shahed drone is a easy target. But expensive missiles are used, more than 20 times the price. I think more, maybe even much more

From what i understand, most of those drones launched by iran were unarmed. They wanted to test the air defense system and deplete Israeli missles. If you can launch a 1k drone and it takes a 50k missle to destroy it why not? The missle and drone companies are about to become even wealthier.

Sorry but where do you get your prices? Those drones cost around 20-50k to produce, that is the lowest possible price from the factory. Iron dome costs 100-150k a shot, patriot is in the millions per shot and those air to air missiles used by US and others are at least a million a shot.

In Israel did destroy a radar and s300 with a inert guided missile that was protecting Iranian nuclear Research Center there is satellite footage of the damage and everything to prove it so there was a small strike on Israel but most of them were on proxies of Iran and a lot of them some were huge military bases used by Iran's proxies that were filled with equipment

The Iranians made that consulate building a target by having a meeting there with the leaders of their military and the leaders of their proxies to plan thier military attacks against Israel. This isn't that hard to understand.
Consulates are sort of "sacred" areas, as they represent for example "Iranian Land" on different soil. Even in the west did no one arrest asssange inside another embassy, as they respected this general law. By shooting at that consulate, they not only spit onto that global agreement but also humiliated iran globally.
Even if that is true and I would take anything Israel says with a huge grain of salt, you dont strike embassies and consulates, not unless you want war and dont care about international law.

I would say that more than 1% made it through air defence. If it was 1% that has made it there would be only 3 or 4 missile that hit Israel, but just in this video at least 10 missile made it through.
As he said in the vid, many of the ones shown to have gotten thru is the same footage shot from different people/angles. Hence why he said he will not try to estimate how many actually go thru.

How much did all those interseptions cost, not including the cost of aircraft and their missiles? How many were they forced to use? How many do they have left? Then, look at the cost of the drones that were launched vs. cost. Per drone. All of those interceptions per cost of 1 cheap drone. And guaranteed israel only has a small amount of iron drone intercepts left. Iran has thousands and thousands of cheap drones? I bet enough to completely make israel use their stockpiles and still have more cheap drones to fly in once all the interceptor missiles are depleted.
