I hope your videos will help me to learn grammar and memorize the vocabularies....
Still I'm afraid that may be i can't speak Thai, as this is a tonal language and my wrong tonal pronunciation may confuse the listener 😅
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Start speaking it out first, and the next time will get better. 😊

Good day, Jack. I know that my question is not related to this video, but I want to ask you something important. When you use a consonant, must I add the word that represents the sound too? For example, gaw gai. I've just learnt that the word gai is chicken.
It depends on spelling for reading or writing purposes. As you know, the name of the Thai alphabet consists of two parts. For example, we call this letter ‘ก‘ 'gaw-gai.' 'gaw' represents the sound of the letter, and 'gai' represents the character that has the sound like. When you want to spell for reading, you can say just the sound of the letter, like when you spell ‘cat,’ you say the sound of ‘c,’ ‘a,’ and ‘t,’ and read ‘cat.’ But when you spell for writing, you have to say the name of the letter, like ‘gaw gai.’

Is the word "laew" necessary in the sentence "khun bpai Chiang Mai gie krang laew"? Does it change the meaning of the sentence if we don't use it?
The word 'laew' is used to emphasize what happened in the past. If you don't want to emphasize, it's okay to leave it out.
I have tried my best to learn the alphabet but for some reason I can't remember 😢
Same here...
May be because the alphabet of your mother tongue sounds different compared to Thai
There are so many similarities between my mother tongue and Thai, so it was quite easy for me
Practice makes everyone perfect, let's try our best to learn 🙌🏻😊

What is your mother tongue if it’s similar to Thai …?
You will be able to learn and to remember. You just need to take more action and don't tell yourself that you can't remember.
@@SkipRoche31 Bengali (may be it doesn't look too similar, but all the pronounciation is same with different sign, it was quite easy for me to remember)
