It is something that has slowly disappated. Weird, but its just like the club scene was back then, something that is gone. The musicianship is gone, for one thing. You have all these younger people now, who rely on gadgets and sounding like the latest popular person, rather than developing uniqueness. And without the unique musicians, the church doesn't develop a unique sound either. Remember going to specific churches just because of their style? We don't have that so much anymore.
I have been waiting to see this for years. I was sitting right there with tape recorder in hand and remember every moment of preaching, singing and praise. All we have is memories at this point. I miss this sooooo much. Thanks to whoever posted.
