- After trainfest in September 2023 3751 was brought down to the Redondo Junction Roundhouse for display before heading to bed. Big thanks to Amtrak and 3751’s crew for the wonderful event!

Why is it taking so long to reunite 3751 with 2926? They’re taking too long to bring them back together
I’m not sure. It might be because of 3751’s PTC system being down right now. They are planning on purchasing a new one.
SBRHS wants to give 3751 the full PTC package and is currently raising the funds to do so. This will make it much easier to get her out more. The 2926 group already has PTC but is currently working to get all the necessary paperwork and insurance sorted out. It will happen, just gotta get all the legal stuff done first.
Why do they do this stuff? Is it just to stretch her wheels or something?
