The most underrated guitar player ever. The man is a genius
No doubt about it. This guy never did get the recognition he deserved. I first heard him on the live album from 78 when it was new.
Yes, Frank marino is phenomenal same with rory Gallagher
Couldn't Agree More! Marino Is A Monstah Player! I Saw Him Live And He Played For Nearly 3 HOURS!! AMAZING SHOW!!!!
Absolutely a Genius
He was so underrated that he got bushels of flowers from Johnny Winter, Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa and many others. Saying Frank was underrated is a disservice to him. The main players know who he is and was. That’s all that matters.
I've witness his brilliance first hand in the early 70's. One of the reasons I use the word brilliant, is because I saw him change a string during a performance, all without missing a beat. Brilliant, Yes. He stands against the music industries compromising demands. For that he is relatively unmentioned and relegated to the background of their supposed great guitarists. But those of us that watch carefully and objectively, Frank Marino is truly one of the best innovative guitarists of all times. I continue to pray for his health and well being. God Bless you Mr. Marino and thank you for all that you have done and continue to do!
Well said. I saw him in the early seventies also. A down to earth great man of music. A true master.
Frank Marino is my all time favorite period! I'm a heavy metal guitar player . The first time I seen him live he blew my mind WOW! God bless you Frank Marino I'm praying for you! Robby Faulkner,
There is Frank. Then there is everybody else.
I love that! so true
Music for the soul by Frank Marino 🥰
Hope you're feeling better my man! We're always wishing you the best🤗
OMG what a treat. Frank must be one of the most underrated blues/rock guitarists in our time. He has allways been my favourite and inspiration.
Damn Frank is great! Really disappointed he won't be out on the road anymore...would love to see him live again!
Was at that show, my buddy Mick Lane on the "other" guitar, with Frank in top shape that evening!
This guys guitar playing has been blowing my mind for decades. Very few blues guitarists compare.
Frank is the best of the best.
This is an unusually good blues song for a rock guitar player. Most can play blues licks but cannot put together meaningful melodic solos that can move you emotionally. That is when you are really playing the blues. When the tears are falling your playing the blues.
Just as Frank has grown as a musician, my sound system is now the best I've ever heard just so I can be more appreciative of his wondrous licks!
Missed two shows he had to cancel due to health reasons and now I know I've missed seeing hearing and loving another great bluesman
~1969. San Jose, CA 'Be In.' Big line-up of S.F. Bay Area bands---Jefferson Airplane, Country Joe, etc. Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush take the stage. We remember little of that day 🤪 ...but we distinctly have never forgotten Frank and the band launching into 'William Tell Overture.'
I was hooked on Frank since the mid ‘70’s, ever since I bought “What’s Next” , a great lp with Roadhouse, Something’s coming, Finish line and actually, they’re all great. My homeboy from Montreal, ……when history looks back at the great, iconic rock/blues guitarists, Frank will be there, next to my #1 blues guitarist of ALL TIME, Rory Gallagher. 🇨🇦👍
One of the Masters! Thank you Frank for decades of beautiful ripping guitar music.
Ive been blessed to have watched Frank live since the mid 70's.....6 decades of bliss, just saying :)
His phrasing is flawless. The way he leads you from one chord to the next. I’m definitely gonna work on learning some of his phrasing. I’d love to see him put out some instructional videos. Frank you’re the best! I’ve been listening to you since the 80s. Thanks for posting.
Listen to his interviews
My all time favorite by Frank is "I'll play the Blues for you" Awesome.
That sound.......Thank you Frank..
In my head during the last 40-50 years I have said in my head, over and over....Thanks Frank. Keep 'em coming.
Still after all the years Frank Marino is a Master 👍
Bravo to the Syrian Italian. Greetings from one Orthodox to another from Serbia.

Have seen & heard him play this many times. So soulful!
Frank you're still the best mate...... 💪
Have the Agora Theatre show CD/Blu-Ray, it cranks! This tune is very cool, will be saving it as well.

That´s the Blues as it should be, great guitarplayer, great voice, thanks a lot, I love it, greetings from an guy from Germany 🤘🎸
Dave Goode on drums, magnificent drummer!
So good Frank thank you
Can’t wait
Well - in the former days, when bfbs "heavy metal show" did their part to civilise my country of Germany, I for the first time heard FM: Crazy Miss Daisy. Went to buy The Power of Rock`n Roll - album, blazed by Ain't Dead Yet and more, got all the former albums and stayed fan since. Thank's to YT I can see my guitar-heroe Nr. 1 for some years "live".
Plus: Not only his guitar-playing, his singing too touched my heart and soul for so many times. All the best to You, Frank Marino!
another great song on the ears ! Healing is what we do Frank 🖤
Never heard this before, but found myself finishing the words before I heard them ⁉️😵💫🤩🤔cool slow blues with a touch of jazz thankyou for playing real music 🎶💥🔥😎✌️
I think he got every blues lick in this song... it's perfect !!!
The world's most under rated guitarist
In the early 70's Mahogany Rush was cranked on My stereo in my 69 GOAT, GOOD TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's only one Frank Marino.... If there were 2 I think my head would explode. Mind, it'd be a nice way to go! 😁😎
My new Grado's arrived today and this is the first tune through em. Remarkable how good this song is.
listening with Grado`s also. Winning
Saw him at Massey Hall in Toronto in the mid 70's absolutely fantastic. Bought most of him albums...loved Child of the Novelty....Thanks Frank, You are the most underrated guitarist in the world. In my opinion, you are one of the top five!
I might be 10k of the views myself; not a single misplaced, poorly chosen or wasted note and the tone, my goodness the tone. Such a brilliant exhibition of phrasing and feeling
10001are mine ...lol
Thank you, if those words are enough to cover all the many years of really cool music you have played. Then thank you it is.
So much feeling in blues. So sweet.

Everytime this song comes on my neighbors get to hear me play my Lee Oskar. Simply wonderful.
I was there both nights and have discs. Hope you are doing well Frank.
So good, and awesome as the goosebumps replace each other, beautiful!
Texxas Jam 1978 saw him,, ill never forget.
At a theater in Athens Georgia (early 2000's), you autographed my red "Duff Beer" baseball cap. I asked for you to write "John, Never Give Up" which you did, and then added your signature. I still have and treasure it to this day, and treasure that l was able to see you live and meet you in person that awesome evening.
When l asked you to sign what l asked, it was about not giving up on guitar playing, which l was strongly considering at the time due to drastic changes of all kinds in my life, but particularly because of highly diminished physical playing facility.
I'm not sure why l'm writing this except to say that on my own small level l think that l can relate a little to what you're going through physically (and to my own small degree how that effects one emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually when playing guitar is probably one of the few things in one's life that one never, ever, had a "f*ck you, make me" attitude towards lol) at present, and would like to return the sentiment that you wrote for me back to you: Never Give Up, Frank.
Thank you for this release, it's wonderful, and just know that many, many people love you and are praying for whatever will help you overcome whatever is ailing you.
Myself included. Love and prayers, in Jesus's Blessed Name, flowing towards you man! Take care...
Great bud, I've seen frank a few times soo stupid of me to not get anything signed. Once I was beside him in a phone booth next to rock and roll heaven and kick myself for not asking for a sig
Beautiful as always, praying for you Frank! - Blessings to you always.
👍🔥🎸🦅 Oh Yeah
Tightest band I've ever heard & with my favourite guitarist...bonus
Ladies and gentlemen will you welcome Mahogany , mahogany, mahogany, Rush, rush, rush… lol. Frank is one of the great rock ‘n’ roll guitarist ,a man who could sing and play guitar. Frank also has a great band as well ,Awesome ……Keep on rocking Frank.
Wow... Why haven't I been listening to Frank Marino before now? That was just remarkable. Now I want to know more about that SG!
You dont just play this,You have to "feel" this......
Been listening to him since the 70s. Had the pleasure of seeing him live at The Strand in Redondo Beach back in the 80s. Amazing then and still excellent today.
Good God I love this line up of Mahogany Rush Musicians
Al🫠ha from Hawaii 🤙
Lord take care of you Frank! You are my brother which I will meet you one day when we have all the time in our future lives to talk and play. Until then, I wish you and yours good health, which I know is enormous. Prayers go out to you. ❤️
Just a beautiful little jazz-tinged blues from one of the best to ever plug into an amp. When they carve the Mt Rushmore of guitarists Frank is gonna be right next to Jimi. Just keep livin' Brother, and thank you for all the decades of wonderful music and astonishing guitar.
So fluid, so effortless, so... Frank!
A lot of people tell us that Frank Marino is underrated. But I don't think that's the case. Yes, he may be unknown to "middle of the road" listeners (not sure actually) BUT he is absolutely god/GOAT to others... Just look at the comments. Hundreds and hundreds of comments of admiration under each of his videos (or following his concerts long before CZcams!) since the beginning... Or maybe we should consider him our secret guitar hero... Not to mention all the great guitarists who cite him as an absolute master. Whatever the case! Beautiful blues with elements from his versions of "I'm a king bee" and "red house".
... Thank you and more please ...
Highly UNDER PRAISED,
FRANK HAD IT ALL - BEST ELECTRIC AXE MAN EVER 👍👍👍
Damn! Frank's as good today as he ever was. Maybe even better!
What a magnificent Blues number!! Thanks for posting this, Frank. I'm still praying for you to recover from your illness and to make a welcome return to live performances. God bless you in all that you do.
I believe he said he will never tour again
@@tttarms1970 . . He did. But that was because he couldn't see a way forward due to whatever medical condition he has. But never discount the power of God in the life of a believer.
@@arthurblackhistoric wish him well....I had tickets, but canceled all shows at the time....
@@arthurblackhistoric Definitely makes me wish there was a god.
@@brucea550 . . Why not try praying to Him, and see what happens? The worst that can happen is . . well, nothing. Come on mate, you can do it.
Sometimes a song really hits home and this one def. did that for me.💕
I'm glad to Discovered this Great music.
underrated are you kidding, oh stop it ! 💙Bluesy moves all day 🎸💙
This blu ray is incredible. Saw frank 3 or 4 times in the 70's. First time in 75. He opened for Sabbath, blew their asses off the stage. Sabbath played 3 songs and canceled the rest of they show. Frank was still a teenager on that tour. Saw priest open for him in Stockton, CA., in SF during the recording of his iconic live album. He was then, and still is one of my favorite guitarists and singers.
We love you Frank!!
A guitarists guitarist - masterful blending of modes in the blues not to mention the feel
Wow...An Agora Out-Take! Thanks a Million Frank :)
One of the nicest blues jams that I've ever heard. And Frank's version of Red House - he didn't follow the Brother Jimi path on that song, he made it his own. Fantastic work, really glad all of this has been released.
Guitar God!
👍👍👍👍👍amazing talent! I could listen to him forever
Awesome Thanks for sharing
Saw him live a dozen times, my favorite guitarist.
Been watching him live since the mid 70's, into 6 decades now.....bliss !!
About time Frank releases the other 6
Hours of that iconic show
He is a great musician!
Every single superfluous note Frank plays is captivating. I can listen to this all day and I'm not even a big blues guy.
Superfluous?
Guitar playing is like architecture , the older you get the better you get ,true for any profession I guess
He’s in it.
