The only good thing about Kai not being in this comeback is people noticing other members' dancing more, especially Xiumin, Baekhyun and D.O. Those 3 especially have their very own dancing styles that are so amazing to watch.
100% agree. Kai is a beast, but Xiumin, Baekhyun, and Kyungsoo are absolute monsters too. They have their own individual style and charisma when they dance, and it makes me so happy each time a reactor notices their dancing. Moreso now that Jeff has spied their dancing too!
When Kai had to miss the Dallas EXO'luXion stop because of a visa problem, I heard so many fans leave that concert talking about how good Xiumin was; the man is always dancing like the rent is due~^.^

I have always noticed D.O.'s swag. He's always in his world enjoying & vibing to the music while dancing. I also think that D.O. having buffed up shoulders & gym body has added to the hip hop image, further enhanced by the beautiful jersies. BTW, the whole group AND D.O. have been slaying the choreo on the LIVEs with stable vocals. I just don't understand how they do it. Extremely gifted & hardworking individuals 'brought together in a group by divine intervention' is the only explanation I can think of.
My only explanation is they they are the real talented ones. No one can come close to their talent.

DO has always been this good since trainee days. But people just don't notice it because he was tasked to focus on being the main vocals. And yes, he always had that swag in him while the main dancer Kai has the grace.

Xiumin always goes from one part of stage to another most of their choreo. Literally why he was called the backbone of EXO (for his vocal and choreo) And yes DO is underrated dancer. Its just that he is more into vocals or recognize more for his vocals but since debut some people really notice his dance moves. He can literally be a main dancer.

Trueee, D.O. was in the dancing line for several occasions tho,
Kyungsoo (D.O.) actually started out in the dance line for exo-k, but since they merged quite soon after, he was mainly relegated to the back for more intense choreo, which made sense to an extent in songs where he was carrying a lot of the vocals/adlibs. This time he's been moved forward, so I guess his skills are more obvious? Also, I think sometimes in the past, in practice he seem more rigid because he's trying to be accurate, and many comebacks were when he was in the midst of filming for his acting career and had less time for practice in comparison.
This time he really is giving main dancer vibes. But it shouldn't be all too surprising, he managed exo concerts and learned tap dance within 6 months to the extent that his co-star (who is a recognised talented tap-dancer on broadway) had only compliments for him and revealed kyungsoo didnt use the arranged stunt-double for much of the film. He's put a lot of work into dance.
Kyung Soo has always been a great dancer even from rookie days. He was considered a lead dancer and his style has always been swaggy and smooth. His facial expressions weren't very animated. He's very groovy and smooth in his own style like his singing. Also, spending more time on his acting career often relegated him to the back of the group usually. Check out a few live performances of "Playboy" and you can see more of Kyung Soo's swagger.
He's got a great sense of rhythm as a singer and dancer. He's got excellent foot movements. Remember he learned how to tap dance in 6 months and was so good at it that they didn't need to use the tap dancing doubles hired for the movie.

Actually at the beginning of exo debut D.O. is the lead dancer and often gets the front spot to dance along with kai and sehun, after that because D.O. more focused on vocals he often gets back spots to dance on some of EXO's songs, but when I see a dancers giving reactions to EXO's dance practices, many of them always highlight D.O.'s dance skills. and said that D.O. must often get a place in the front like kai and sehun because of his good dancing skills. Even baekhyun said that we should look forward to the cream soda comeback because D.O. will showcase his dance skills after a long time. And I myself was surprised because in this comeback he really got the center of attention about his dance which so far many ordinary people don't know other than dancers. So thank you jef because you have acknowledged D.O.'s dancing skills, even though it's late but it's better to know now isn't it☺️

What i noticed is that d.o is really good at grooves dynamics and connecting so this kind of choreo when he hitting it he HITTING IT this reminded me a lot of history kyungsoo the older days when he was dancing like no tommorow. I love it this choreo suits his sooo much

ahhh yesss kyungsoo praise !!! i always thought of him as a lowkey main dancer. he’s usually pushed to the back so he’s overshadowed by the others but he’s always had amazing precision and isolation and GROOVE. tho something definitely shifted when he turned 30 bc he’s on another level this time around. even his fancams are popular rn! 😭

Had similar reactions when Kyungsoo had that center part n the first verse. His skill in isolation was showcased well and his groove was so natural and his footwork was sooooo smooth.
I know most EXO-Ls would agree that Chanyeol, Suho and Chen's dancing has improved sooo much. And D.O have always had that swag waaaaay before.

Kyungsoo has always been a great dancer. He has very precise movements. He was even in the front line during History and Mama. But over the years, IDK why he was put more and more at the back. My dancersoo!!! But he could work more on his posture tho imo haha my back hurts watching him
Yes D.o’s always been this good, youve been blind this entire time 😂😂😂 so saucyyyy, his lines have always been clean and his isolations are so good, his approach to the beat is fantastic… i think camerawork just always focuses on his face for MV’s and live performances because he’s singing the iconic parts/runs. Sehun’s turns are a work of art, the head spotting flawless

honestly, kyungsoo (D.O) always have very good swag, he's like that bridge that linked. just silently out there doing his thing. but i think because when you have Kai and Sehun combo (and Lay too, when he was promoting with them), your eyes are naturally drawn to them, also Kai have big movements (great extensions) and tall. And that will overshadow the others. plus, if kai is around, a lot of the dance are centered around him. Without him around, i think its easier for others to shine. for me, in this choreo, minseok is the clear standout. That 30 sexy they're talking about. he's oozing it. Also, i can't get enough of Sehun's turn (based on the actual video, its around 1:24. the way he places his hand and center himself to turn...also that's very sehun move. that was beautiful. im streaming the practice together with the mv and every single watch catches something new, watching your breakdown gave me more things to watch so thank you for that too.
20:07 yess Sehun is ending the song with his lines but Kai was right before him after the last chorus. The choreo is so good and they r slaying it so hard. U really want to stop to look at each of them seperately doing rhe moves as well dhdh and yet again the song is soooo good as well as the whole album
I’m so PROUD of him chanyeol he was little bit insecure about his dancing but know he improved 100% I’m sure he proud of himself that’s what i like about Exo and being fan for 11yrs they were already talented but the fact they improve every time they release album and going to vocal coach also is amazing this is real artist who love what’s they’re doing and passionately about it year after year non stop and the same for kyungsoo baekhyun said that he killed and he was correct I love them so much and respect as an artist ❤❤❤❤
The spotlight for D.O. in this comeback is just insanely satisfying. He has been my Ultimate bias since their debut. Tho, they are all slaying in this era. But Kyungsoo is just....... Yes, Kyungsoo is That GOOD GOOD even GREAT! He can really do what the choreo wants him to do. As a dancer (not much on hiphop) since daycare, EXO is really a great dancer, they can really put a good show. They improve every comeback, they still do some lessons even we know that they are great already, but they don't settle for just their innate talent, they keep improving by taking lessons and practicing a lot. For a group with innate talent like them and being in the industry for so long i really appreciate how they still want to improve themselves and continue showing how improving yourself can do to your career.
D.O. has always been a good dancer since debut days (just look up History dance practice). SM just always puts him in the back in choreo so people don't notice him. Kyungsoo feel for rhythm is insane in his singing and dancing.

Kyungsoo used be exo-k leader dancer in pre debut and debut era, I recommend you watch history and mama's dance practice, you will see that he was already THAT GOOD at that time, but then he start to be pushing back in the exo's choreographies, like has somes choreos that u can barely see him bcz he always behind someone, so ig it was natural for him to focus in the things that he has change to show up like his vocals and acting career, but he never stopped being a good dancer, whenever he had the chance to stand out he stood out, be it in history, or in tap dancing or now with cream soda, people just never paid enough attention to his dancing and that counts the choreographers and choreographers who didn't do it justice to him
And xiumin always floats in exo's choreographies, the man runs like nobody else lol
D.O. is always been a good dancer since the debut but I saw a video that showed how after he injured during a performance he started dancing less powerful. Seeing him now makes me really happy

Kyungsoo have always been a great dancer despite only learning when he started training at their company, but I think he really leveled up this comeback. Even Baekhyun said before the comeback that we should look out for Ksoo’s dancing because he’s crazy this time meaning; he really went all out! I think one of the reason also is because Kai isn’t around so they have to fill in for him~~

i’ve noticed that even from the beginning professional dancers who react to exo’s dancing always point out d.o.’s isolation and how good it is~~
CY said that during trainee years, they have dancing catergories where he started on C level while Kyungsoo is at B. KS is not as great as Kai, Sehun, or Lay but his dancing style always has his identity marked to it. That's why some professional dancers said it's hard to copy his dances.
In an interview Kai was asked who he liked as an Exo dancer and he said that Kyungsoo, although I do not know if it is because it is true or why he can not be impartial with him ... 😂😂

I first started to noticed D.O's dancing in call me baby. He's really GOOD and is giving off main dancer vibes. I think that Kai just overpowers him when it comes to dancing since Kai, even if we try to deny it, really does catch our eyes when it comes to dancing. So others wouldn't notice D.O much other than him being a main vocal, when it comes to his voice. He's really an amazing dancer and for this comeback i can tell he really showed us what he's capable of.

Kyungsoo said, well dang gotta represent Kai but he has always danced beautifully. Kai has that overpowering aura that I love. You tend to focus just on him because he is that eye catching and legendary. So saying this most people tend to not see the other members but they all great dancers. Main dancing kings all of them. But I miss my boy Kai truly. This Come back was tailor made for his energy and persona. But the members friggin slayed and I love it.
D.O. always had a swag in him. During their debut days, someone analyzed his dance style as groovy vibe with amazing footwork. If you watch their dance practice for History, you will see how good he is + he was always near the front. You also missed on 11:35 with his isolations, they very sharp and precise. A D.O. focused dance practice was uploaded and you can see his sharp movements more.
DO has always been one of the best dancers in exo imo, and my personal favorite. He's not as powerful and sharp as baekhyun and xiumin but he definitely has cleaner moves, better footwork, better pops and isolations as well. He hasnt lost his swag since history! Really agree with what you said about DO having the potential to be a hip hop dancer, dude has natural swag, not too over the top and just overall clean execution.

The thing i love about this choreo is how it's getting everyone attention. D.O. is my ult and I must say without bias, he slayed in this comeback like theres no tomorrow. Kai usually commands so much attention as the main dancer, but without him everyone, it gets noticed. We still miss him a lot though. His dancing is just stunning

Yes! I won’t shut up about Chanyeol’s dancing here haha. We all know how he’s insecure about his dancing and how he’s just in the background in most choreos but he really stepped up in this one. All of the boys did actually but Chanyeol was a pleasant and welcome surprise.
Hehehe thank u for the Kyungsoo praises, he's been a good dancer, was in a dance Line since the very beginning but perhaps everyone was paying attention to somebody else the whole time😅
To be very honest, you are the only reactor that I trust when it comes to reacting to EXO's dance practices because you know the technicalities when it comes to dancing so it is so nice listening to your critics and comments.
"Am i watching the same group?!" literally my reaction when i saw the dance practice for the first time. Im an EXO-L since 2012 but never have i ever seen EXO as a whole group this SHARP at dancing. They literally improved so much especially Chanyeol, D.O and CHEN. I bet they trained so much from the all the inactive years they had all these time. EXO also said that they trained so much before the comeback because KAI will not be there for them this time and look at the result??!! LIterally all members became a main dancers😭😭
