Looks yummy! I am glad you don't waste food either. Everything is so expensive now a days! Cooking for one is sometimes a challenge for me. I cook whatever I eat as opposed to going through a drive thru or something. I can't afford it, but I feel like I appreciate what I do have that much more. This was a good vegetable dish when you have a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Use what you have, right? God bless you! @@Trojan4u I guess any frozen will be, but have had good luck as you see from yesterday video, it was frozen Great Value brand, if I don't have fresh I just use frozen for all year eating, I let semi thaw and rinse in strainer really well. You can achieve good luck, just experiment Happy cooking.

@@bonnieallen3775 Thanks for your input, yes I do watch salt, I have HBP, but been stable, it went off of the charts about a month ago in the 100 and 200 range, I stopped all salt and come to find out it was the diet drinks, especially Diet Root beer 800 mg sodium per can, so now I make our big water - metal glasses with filtered water and the squeeze of lime juice -1 Sweet and Low... Helps mom kidney disease and mine BP, I also do not always cook with all the grease in this recipe, only once in awhile...usually virgin olive. Have a great week.

I’m so sorry about your nephew and that means your mother lost a grandchild. That’s a terrible thing to go through. I lost a baby grandson and it’s just terrible. And I hope you are well. I know firsthand what it’s like to be a caregiver

Love the roseville spongeware pottery bowls. Looks good. Wish i could grow okra in western Washington.
Just buy the frozen at Walmart great value brand, it does very good.
