I like the idea of emote battles with people and then changing into their skin, Pretty neat!
I kind of miss the feeling of obscurity in emotes in Party Royale. I miss when there was almost always an emote that you didn’t know about and seeing it was so exciting. I miss when someone would do an emote that I’d never seen and I’d admire it. Back then everyone had at least one rare or unknown emote as well, so it was fun to battle because it wasn’t one-sided.
it's hard to know what PR content will look like in the future or if emote battles will ever completely die off but I'm definitely excited to see what happens and hopefully people will still want to watch

I just miss the Party Royale when you load into a game and you do nothing besides emote and that was literally it. You didn't have people emote battling other people. It was just calm and peaceful.

Anything from the item shop will return eventually, just because something hasn’t been out for over 1,000 days doesn’t mean it’s never coming back, I’m pretty sure we all know this, right?
@@jaminz8739 devs have said multiple times that if the game goes TOOO downhill they will rerelease on cosmetics such as past battle passes and skins like the Aerial Assault Trooper and OG styles to older skins just to get the hype of the game back up

I have a feeling that over the next few years people will be switching between the skin battle phase and the emote battle phase. Also, we need a better emoticon for skin battling. The sweater emoticon is just something that’s too rarely found in people’s lockers.

I remember how fun party royale used to be back when it was out and i stopped playing battle royale after joining a party royale game but a few month later i saw some kids doing emotes and laughing each at other and that became a big thing and party royale was ruined from that time and now many people are bored of party royale

lmao I remember I was doing a lot of skin battles like 9 months ago when I still had my acc with all ogs except aerial
This will be harder to catch on because most people in party royale have prioritized emotes over skins and have invested alot of money in emotes already. Not to mention most skins that are the most rare now are looking to never come back. Difficulty to participate will be the main problem here.

Majority of the rare emotes were in the hands of toxic party royale dictators who thinks they can moderate the server because they have one of the 4 og skins & some dumb rare emotes. Im glad they're coming back
Where i come from, I had a black knight take over an entire server and monitored it like a f***ing karen, if he spotted someone he didn't like, he'd take the L and flex on them. Despite taking the L on simps too, he himself would hump people with with ride the pony. if they rejected he'd also take the L on them. Not to mention he was so desperate to flex the entire time. Copying everyone's back bling and emotes when they're close to him. It was only like 11 people in the server and they were all near durr burger so yeah.
So Again, rare emotes. Most of the people who owned them were toxic af. You said it yourself "Exclusive skins were the kings"

not gonna lie, I personally think it's a cycle. After all these rare emotes come back, a new batch of emotes will become rare not long after.
No trust me. It will be different. The last cycle is the emotes that are currently updated to release and the ones that aren’t updated. Once they are out, there will be no rare emotes other than exclusive/limited time ones.
Exactly. As time goes on Fortnite is going to leave things out, and as more people forget about them, they’ll become extremely popular all of a sudden, just like every rare emote now.
The reason why is because Party Royale wasn’t even a thing the last time these emotes were out. No one really knew how to flex their emotes since there wasn’t a mode for it. But now there is. That’s why literally everyone buys emotes now that plays party royale. Therefore there will be no “other/next” cycle of rare emotes unfortunately.
i do get what you're saying tbf, but there's no other way to know except to wait. But I do hope my theory is correct as I stopped playing the game when the current rare emotes where out in the shop, and since iv been back into the game, I have bought very emote in the shop.
