      Cheers Scott. You know, to begin with I thought I'd love Death Fence, but it turns out that when you get stuck into it, Death Fence is best avoided. ;)

      What GoPro are you using?

    • @MeantforDescent

      Hi Alfie. For that it was a HERO7 mounted to the chin of my helmet. I sometimes record with a HERO8 mounted to a Stuntman chest harness. If you update the HERO8's firmware you get more options with the Hypersmooth stabilisation. On the chesty I set the field of view to wide and stabilisation to high.

      Do you colour grade your videos after filming or do you just keep it as it was. I have a hero 4 (I know it’s old) and also have it on my chin but the footage I get from it is flat and uncoloured?!
      What settings do u use on the GoPro itself?

    • @MeantforDescent
      @MeantforDescent  Před 4 lety

      @@alfiejw5534 You may have ProTune set to flat colour. If you change it to GoPro colour you'll get more saturation. In answer to your question, yes I colour grade. I have both cameras set to flat colour and the white balance is set to native. I use DaVinci Resolve to edit and it's pretty powerful when it comes to colour grading.

      Thanks! You should really make a tutorial on how you make your videos! It would really help loads of ppl

      Man, I'm not surprised. There are so many great trails there.

      You know, it's on the way to Wales, and we're going in a few weeks, but it's a canny drive. I don't think a mid journey ride is a go. I'll get there one day, though.

      @MeantforDescent  Před 4 lety

      No. Sounds like I don't really want to go, though.

      I did the training for my MTB Leader Level 2 with a company called Ridelines up at Glentress. Really enjoyed it.

      Tried to watch, Alfie, but it's marked as private.
      Just a heads up. CZcams flagged and held your comment as spam, probably because you'd asked me to check out your vid. You can DM me on Twitter, Instagram or FB, or you can email me. Links are all in my vid descriptions.

    • @amtb9977

      Sorry didn’t mean to spam. I privated the video because of a quality issue. A new one is up now tho.
      Thanks

    • @MeantforDescent
      @MeantforDescent  Před 4 lety

      No worries. I don't mind getting messages. When it gets flagged, though, it's moved to a different folder and it's easy to miss it.
      If you want better quality, render your vids at 2.5k and up the bit rate. It'll take longer to upload and process, but your video will be served using the VP09 codec.
      I'll check it out when I get home tonight.
