The hard part of this job will be evaluating and inserting the young players into the team. We saw last year the quality of some of those youngsters and to me they all looked capable and eager to make the jump. But i am not a manager and am only watching on tv so i cant even see what they do when they are not on the ball.

season Slot needs a CB and DM in before the window shuts I think. I expect top 4 but not a title challenge is likely if no players come in. I will say I'm not one of those naysayers who say Liverpool are doomed without Klopp and no signings coming in dropping to 6th. this team is too good for that. the thing that helps Slot though is I believe players like Nunez and Dom will take the next step up this season and develop further under him. I am already noticing Dom in training and 1st pre season game looking different to me with more confidence compared to the end of last season where Elliott took his spot and his form was down along with confidence and you could tell he was not fully fit.. Eliott also looks great in training.
No! Liverpool does not need CB or a DM. Liverpool already have very good CBs and DMs. Just because you do not like the current players does not mean Liverpool needs new players. Will new players help, maybe they will. Or maybe they will not. Arne is still assessing the current players and will bring in new players when he and Liverpool feels it is necessary.
Just like Jürgen, Arne and the recruiting team will buy players that will fit the style that he wants to play. So is not going to buy players that make you happy.
We just hope everything goes well as he plan that all ❤❤❤and the players also corporate with him very hard 📌💯🇸🇱🇸🇱
We're currently 4(5 if you count Adrian) senior players down on last summer. We should be recruiting at least 2 to help squad levels surely? Ugarte and Neves both available for about 50M + add ons should be well within our reach (we paid that - and then waited for 12 months - for Keita. And that's over 6 years ago). Neves at 19 would be a sound investment on his performances to date - and no doubt could earn the owners bundles at that price.
Just hope Arne doesn't have any favourites, and isn't frightened of hauling players off who aren't performing to their given abilities. Will let everyone know they have to earn there place, creating more determined team. Best wishes LFC and go for it this season, YNWA.

Last season against every team we got atleast 3 heart attacks every match from our defence, now we havent really. It just feels alot more stable and alot more balanced

Carvalho does not even play in the same position as Thiago, and Van Den Berg is on his way out of the club.

Head coaches come and go just like players, it makes no sense to judge them on the league’s they have managed / coached in or played in prior.
