I do have a few old English coin Victorian coin .
But i love my silver Morgan dollar.
Bought as i was going to make a ring.
But i can't lovely coin.

Christopher, you do not need to justify yourself to anyone. It's your hobby, it's a harmless hobby, anyone can do exactly the same and as you always say, it's not for profit like some of the scalpers who buy up multiples of new releases to sell on for profit. Christopher, thank you so much for sharing this video. I found it fascinating. As a child, I would collect things, all sorts of things. As I’ve said to you, watching your videos, inspired me to start collecting again. However, I’m nowhere near as organised as I could be, yet. In the past I’ve collected stamps and US coins. As you say, each to their own. Keep on doing what makes you happy. Watching your videos, makes me happy 💜😁

I keep all of my spares/dupes too, with no real plan for them. That said, if somebody I knew was getting into coins or missing a certain one, then I would be happy to search my spares and just give them out - spread the love!

I love to hoard coins too, thats the fun part of collecting.

You should see my world coin collection... Pretty much just in a huge bucket.
I love organising my collection that's the fun of it .
It happens to all of us. We get so absorbed into hunts, we forget about organizing and recording what we found.
Just a thought .....why not bank the ones with face value of £1 or less, and buy Kew garden(s) with the proceeds. . .(and before your house sinks😂😂). Always interesting to see your stash....and yes.....you should keep as many coins as you want.....everybody can do it if they choose to do so. Keep on trucking. I rediscovered my love of coins thanks to you and your great channel.

Given how many hunts you do I should not be surprised at how many coins you have to organize. What does surprise a little is how few of some of them there are.
The more coins you hoard the less chance other collectors have of completing their collection. As you say "just my opinion even if its wrong"

My confession is I am an organisation obsessive. Wish I could be as relaxed as you are about sorting your coins. I get quite obsessive about putting them away date order etc

i only keep the coins worth over face value, which really isnt many, in terms of 50ps, would be all olympics, all 2018 potters, puddleduck, sir isacc newton, suffragettes, and wwf. low tier keepers would be nhs and eu stars. i was keeping nutkins and benjamin brittens but i now have too many and regretting it as they aint really worth more then 50p. so i dont see the need in keeping them anymore as i may as well be keeping 97 britannias because they worth the same.

You collect coins the name of the channel is ( Cristopher collects ) there is no confession needed. if your channel was called (Cristopher collects then throws them back in to circulation) then you would need to confess. As for me yes I collect coins I don’t throw them back ether 😊 but I do hide the evidence 😂 stay safe and hunt/collect on 👍👍👍👍👍
