Nice advice Chuck , some really good tips in this video! Shooting 10 shots before making an adjustment was probably something I needed to hear because there are times when I adjust and it just doesn’t seem to move then several shots later when not adjusting it seems to start moving. Glad to know I’m not the only one who has that issue. Hope that scope holds up for you! Shooting some nice groups in that wind🫡
I'm liking it and probably will buy a nother one in the future for my HW30s. I also have one on in 3-9×40ao on my Hatsan 95 22 a 20 FPE springer and it is doing great. A 4-12×40ao on my HW77 22 it also works very good.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611Well if it can handle a Hatsan 95 then I'm sure it can handle anything, My 95 .177 is the hardest kicking springer I've ever shot.
Hay Chuck I hope this Hammers scope holds up! The Hammers "Magnum" scope are the ones that are "designed" for gas or spring piston air rifles. Being a budget scope if you get a good one it lasts. Some I've read didn't last long. Glad you used the one piece scope mount provided. It is supposed to help the scopes last longer!
Great video Chuck! That's rifle has really turned out nicely! Good groups like always. I like the scope, I have a little hawhe 3-7 on my hw30 which is probably quite similar. Glad you are looking better!
Brilliant video Chuck.. 👍👍👍 I went for a 2 Wulf scopes... Plus I could pay it up.. Klarna I dunno if you got that in the US.. or similar pay in 3 on eBay... But great video bro...👍✌️🤟
Did you ever use the airgun rated scopes from Tasco or Barska? Both claim to be made especially for the double recoil and are in the same price range? Tasco 3-9X40AO and Barska 3-12X40AO?
I had a Barska that died quickly and a Tasco that was terminated in short order on my RWS 350 N-Tec Classic 22. Magnum gas ram's are extremely hard on scope's.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 Thanks for the information. Good to hear from people that have actually used them and will be honest about their performance.
i have several Hammer 4x12 and 3x9 scopes Had good luck with them until I put a 4x12 on my 125 thumb hole model. It ate it. The 125 also eats itself. I don't think Hatsan makes that model anymore. Which is a good thing. Utg is the way to go.That's what's on the 125 now.
like i always say CPHPs BABY. didn't really see much difference between the 10.5 domed and the hp's, again great accuracy in the wind. good luck with scope. cant wait to see how they hold up to the original spring
Chuck I think it's a nice looking scope buddy and if it's staying zeroed that's awesome. Your gun looks really nice your like me you like keeping them nice looking. Have a great day bud.
I have run most cheap scopes, and on my cheap rifles, a smk b3, it recoils are from hell but it never broke any scope cheap Chinese scopes and once scoped in they held there zero one of my scopes is a less the £15 Ao illuminated 3x9+40 clear glass and it has little lever on adjustable for wind and vertical and eye adjustment it came with very good rings and two Allen screws and it anti creep screw and the I am happy, if we went back in time the tasco scope 4+40 with mildots Ao illuminated it would have been great if it happened
Chuck i have the VECTOR OPTICS VEYRON 3/12/44 on my HW97KT and its a great scope for 200 dollars it holds zero and hasnt broke after about 1000 shots through the gun.
I have one of these Hammers scopes. The quality is good, the mount it comes with is better than any other. but there is no mention of a warranty for the scope. its a chinese made scope imported by a company in calif, so its not like this is a scope made by tasco , who actually makes their scopes. Ive not heard of any scope that is 100 percent unbreakabe on a break barrel rifle. if you have one, please say so !
They should not wander at all. I have seen what you are describing though as I have had my catch of low cost scopes. Its called the Record trigger. You are shooting a Diana right? What is the reticle? I hope you don't have to put tape on the fast focus eye piece. Yes, when benching take your time.

Perfect timing, my Diana 48 just ate a Tasco air rifle rated scope. Hopefully these will hold up, I'll order one this week and test it out.

I've had good luck with Hawke Vantage scopes. The one on my HW30S was only $125.00. 2×7×32
Sounds good Heith.🙂👍
This one is half the price.

Have same scope. Ran couple hundred shots with my gamo springer and still holding zero.
Super 😃👍

Eventually I will most likely get some off-set mounts to bring the eye relief back a little. Both Diana 34's need this.
Great and interesting test my dear friend, only AO scopes here. Have a nice new week 💀 👍
Thank you so much 🙂👍

Nice one. Thanks for the good advice, as always.

Using heavy pellets also helps in recoil reduction & scope last longer
Long as they are accurate in your rifle.

The Tasco is a no go sadly, it's a nice clear scope but mine failed after around 500 shots.
I had a Barska that died quickly and a Tasco that was terminated in short order on my RWS 350 N-Tec Classic 22.

When I get my mainspring and piston seal from "Air Rifle Headquarters" I will post on that too.

I think that it all has to do with who put the scope together at the factory. 🏭
hi Chuck! I have a couple more Antique break barrels coming in the mail! I will give you a little teaser, both are German!
