  • Trying something new here! Noa (@nelsonnoa) joins me in a discussion about lighting a specific underwater scene in Houdini.
    Even though we're mainly using Houdini and Redshift here, I think the discussion about what lights we used and where we placed them can be useful no matter what program or render engine you're using.

    For navigating in Redshift Render View u can use ALT + middle mouse

      @@NLbeta Yeah that could work - maybe shorter (20-30min) focused more on specific subtopics within lighting/material techniques e.g. Tranlsucent materials, realistic wear and tear, exterior lighting, artificial lighting setups etc.
