This is why Jane is my favorite character. Yeah, she's fucking weird and not everything she says here makes sense, but she's smart. And my parents had a similar experience of realizing our lives were going to be hard because I was the kind of smart that was going to get me into trouble.
@@mateopavolini I was just talking about relating to the scene dude. WTF I'm going to be charitable and assume you're not mad because I related to a smart girl character, but you're mad because your parents never supported your own critical thinking. In which case, that sucks and I'm sorry. Getting ratioed only proves my point about anti-intellectualism. You can't even say "I've noticed most people don't care about these glaring hypocrisies as much as I do" without some lummox shouting "YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME?". Well... I want to call attention to a problem, and you're making this about you... so yeah as my grandma used to say "If I didn't think I was better than you, I' wouldn't have any self respect". This account is defunct and I don't check replies that frequently. But it's never too late for a #tasteofsalt
@@mateopavolini I mean I went to your channel. You cover the war in Ukraine a lot. And I don't speak fluent Spanish, so I can't tell what your stance is or where this falls on the range between "independent journalism" and "red-circle propaganda". But clearly you care about this issue. So SURELY you know how frustrating it is when you're met with apathy or people telling you you're crazy. I feel the same way about feminism. THAT'S what I mean by "smart". Not high IQ. Not good-at-math. Being good at math isn't going to get you into trouble like being well read about history will. I'm talking about the feeling of sitting in a classroom and realizing, "Hang on! The thing the authority figures are saying... DOESN'T MAKE ANY GODDAMN SENSE!" and nobody else smells these lies. And it's very isolating. Especially if you're female or another marginalized group. Especially if your parents side with the people saying you ask too many questions. I've known and lost so many people with parents like that. I've seen the harm it does. And I'm sorry if it came off as bragging, but I'm just counting my lucky stars that my parents took my misgivings seriously!
It was her turn to play with something on the playground, but when her classmates skipped her turn, she did something bad and got in trouble with the teacher. Then she got upset that she was the only one who got in trouble when the other kids were being mean to her.
I like how Louis listens to her without interrupting. OK, it's obvious she needs another school. She's sort of like Young Sheldon --- bored at school.
louis ck is a genius
This young lady has an epic mind
Lol😇

Wow it took you least than a paragraph to compliment yourself, nice
@@mateopavolini 🤣🤣🤣 💯
What she says makes a whole lot of sense actually. More than whatever these zoomer children say these days.
