most pros started on last day of March and first 2 weeks of April, so Abby didn't miss any time. She's not the only injury, she's just the one who most publicized hers the most. There were likely multiple people hurting on that final start line. Shelly Anne was hurt last year and still won bronze . Sha'Carri was too, and won gold. I mean, possible but, I watched her since college. She's pretty merciless about winning. She definitely slowed down before the line but more because she saw there was no chance . Can't take credit from McKenzie. She's a superior 200 runner. Actually had the world leading time for most of the season
She knew McKenzie made the finals before she ran. Why didn't Sha'Carri remove her name then. You do know that the four fastest women in the 200 in order of the fastest time is FloJo, Shericka Jackson, Elaine Thompson-Hera and Gabby Thoma.

So happy for these three ladies
It's gonna be a battle! Great winners
Gabby obliterated everyone including Sha'Carri. 💪💯😆
She's the best in 200 by far
@@ThaSpeedsterZ not true. Abby has beaten the winning time a number of times
@@user-yh8jh5hv1kNot how it works. You need to beat the racers . Those times of her came 2 yrs ago. As of now she's 0-6 against Sha'Carri in the 200 (her best field) and 2-4 against Gabby (the 2 coming the year Gabby ran injured
I've never seen Abby steiner run that slowly. Bad time to have a slow day
She coming off surgery a few months back.
@@yorkvillecharlieYou guys have to be bots
@@Skatez93 here's your bot. After bursting onto the world track scene in 2022, Steiner suffered a bone spur in her left heel in 2023 which required surgery. The recovery period kept her off the track until early April and on Sunday, she returned to winning ways.
most pros started on last day of March and first 2 weeks of April, so Abby didn't miss any time. She's not the only injury, she's just the one who most publicized hers the most. There were likely multiple people hurting on that final start line. Shelly Anne was hurt last year and still won bronze . Sha'Carri was too, and won gold. Anna Hall had Achilles surgery l just 6 months ago, while Abby's was a whole year ago, and won the heptathlon, which is far harder than the single 200 race
Abby did well. Not making the team doesn't make her a failure. The injury excuse disrespects the hard work and talent of the winners. The 5 people who finished ahead of her were just better
Thanks
Worse form ever 2 against elites
Gabby has the talent and the brains for gold! Congratulations to McKenzie and Brittney. Whats going on with Abby?
Not to use them as an excuse but her surgeries were fairly serious. They have a 10-month recovery time. Still, she has access to the best medical help and ran well. Those above her just ran better
Thanks for the information. @@ThaSpeedsterZ
So is Abby still going to Paris
I thought she qualified in another 200 earlier
@@waynebaker5720??? Not how this works. This was the 200. She lost. Her 100 times were HORRIBLE. Ain't qualify for anything else. She stays home
Female version of Matt Boiling.
you go Gabby. Sha 'Carri got your back, now go girl:)
Shericka is scary but Gabby may be the only one to give her a go
Jamaica looks like they got 3 that can run with or beat gabby but gabby hasnt ran her best yet shes been relaxed.
Sha'carri got your back you sound like a clown !
Sha'carri was easing up the whole race
She was getting smoked 🤣
GET IN GABBY ! SEE YOU IN PARIS ! WELL DONE GIRL 👊🏴
All of the ladies that ran in this race are amazing & they all make us so proud. I was especially happy for Mckenzie Long. Thank you all for your dedication and hard work. Goodluck ladies ❤🇺🇲
Wow, all these women are so beautiful!
Not with those trashy tats.
I wish I could go back to my track days 😤😤
You should get back out there! 😉
The exercise is good for you
U go baby.i love the Olympics they always bring us together.Ty God for giving us these beautiful woman.i love all of them

Gabby was cooking. Congrats.
She's got to win at least silver

Gabby Gabby🎉🎉
@@footballlover1026 she's literally the only person with even a little chance against a 100 percent Shericka
Gabby owns the 200 & Sha'carri owns the 100
Agreed!
Make no mistake about it. ShaCari was running at half speed.
My unfounded theory is that shacarri wanted McKenzie to qualify. Possibly was going to run it through if any other person was ahead. What most people are missing is that they both have something in common- they lost someone close around Olympic trials
Yep she did.❤❤
Sha ciri for some reason slowed down with about 60 meters to go
More like with 20, but, yeah. .. She noticeably decelerated once she saw she wouldn't catch McKenzie

Gabby 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
SHE OR THE OTHER TWO CANNOT BEAT SHERIKA.
Shericka for sure is gonna be hard to beat. The record's gonna fall
@@ThaSpeedsterZThat record is safe and isn't going anywhere. Same with FloJo's 100m record.
Avec Gabby Thomas, on lui tient sur les 100 m, pas sur les 200
elle est également bonne en 100 et 400. A choisi d'économiser de l'énergie pour 200. Elle courra probablement en 4*100 ou 4*400
Go McKenzie!!!!
So excited for her! Had to add that little shout-out to her sweet mom's spirit ❤️

Is it me , or does it seem like the first chance that arise to shade shacari , the media and some people are there. They were just waiting for her to lose a race it seems.
A lot less attacks now, I have to say
Its just you.
She's overly overhyped. The USA always believe they are the best. Whenever they have little talent, it is usually overblown.
@@jeraruoghenero5722 The men were inconsistent during the Bolt era but the US has racked up tons of medals in past decades. Thomas, Richardson, Knighton and Lyles have potential to be some of the best ever. Hardly overblown

No you're right...they are always coming for her...she's a 100M sprinter...She beat Abbey who's a 200M sprinter!!
It's obvious that Shacarri Richardson is giving way to other athletes... I salutes her, she's brilliant!
Giving way? What are you implying?😮

The arm motion thing has been a source of controversy
Agreed. Abby has that raw talent that a good coach can refine. I'm always amazed at how well she's performed with such a tight form. Most times her stride is ridiculously good, but the stiffness in her upper body. Sheesh, I keep thinking she'll pass out from being so tight (tense)! Still Abby's one of my favorites to watch.

Sha carri without makeup & lashes look so cute
This group is probably the most talented across the 8 lanes we've ever seen in an Olympic trials. Women like Abby Steiner get eliminated with times that would be competitive at every heat in the Olympics themselves. I think the USA gets a medals sweep in the 200 this Oly.
Not unless Shericka is hurt or absent. Gabby is all but assured a medal, but names like Julien Alfred, Favour Ofili, and Dina Asher Smith are all threats to everyone else on the USA entry

There's no tragic ending to the athletes in these kind of videos. No car accidents, chronic illnesses, or spiraling drug use type of things. These videos are just about above average golfers that fell short of the hype and expectations generated by their early junior amateur accomplishments.
Fans and sponsors WANTED players like Gulbis, Wie, Creamer, and more recently even Thompson to be the dominant faces of the LPGA...but willing it to be doesn't make it so. Ultimately, these ladies had some good success. Won some tournaments, a few majors between them, made millions and eventually walked away and stated families and new ventures. No, they didn't become the next Sorenstam, Ochoa, or Webb, but they have nothing to hang their heads about. They got to play as a pro on the most elite tour in thwir sport...and make a good living at it while amassing millions of adoring fans worldwide. Something 95% of all aspiring young golfers will never experience. For every child prodigy like Tiger or Rory, there are countless ones who fade into obscurity.
Are you sure you're in the right place?
