- In this video I am playing NHL 94 Rewind. I will show you how to unlock all achievements/trophies in 3 hours, or maybe 2 if you're skilled. Just watch, follow along, and enjoy. Achievement Timestamp Available.

Thanks bro - very helpful - also I found that if you start from the left or right then head straight for the net and do a slap shot (hold B) you get a goal 90% of the time - THANKS AGAIN - THUMBS UP!

For shuffler: I was having the hardest time selecting Edit Lines. You have to press B to select. For some reason A button means nothing. Then some combination of B button and Start might get you in and out of Edit Lines with a successful save.
You gotta press B because in the SNES and Genesis days, you didn't press start, you pressed B. Yeah, it's kinda annoying when you're used to Xbox and Playstation.

I was dumb enough to be convinced by this guide to start the game. Sure, two hours. I know nothing of hockey. I'm so bad at this game... I'll never complete this. How can I win the cup if I can't even make a goal? Credit to Tai for making it look easy.
Edit: I learned to play; got the completion. Still was only like four hours. It's not so difficult after knowing how to score. However, I did exploit the Y-exit option to win the cup. Thanks again for the guide.
Hey, sorry the guide didn't help you, practice your 1 timers, I found that's the best way to score.

@csn69 Gaming I'll say it was my fault. Achievements must be earned, and I wasn't ready to earn them. I deserved to fail. Success came when I was ready.
OK. And how did you score? Can you help us here? I'm trying to make a single goal at least and is like impossible.
Edit: I find a way... Run vertically with the disc, then when you're near the goal, turn horizontally quickly while you hold B for shoot. This will work even against Toronto, although is more hard.
After suffering a lot, I manage to find a way to score that works the majority of the time:

Strategic Mastermind: You can tie the scores and go to overtime and still unlock the achievement.
While it took me more than 3 hours, this guide did help a lot! Although you might want to specify for the Stanley Cup one, if you want to go against Detroit in the first round, you have to pick your favorite EASTERN team. If you want to pick a Western team, I'd recommend going against LA for the playoffs.
Nice guide I followed this all the way to the last achievement where I got confused and used another guide for it

2 hours later me and my brother are looking up how to make a goal. It would be easier to just add a wall there.
The pass from the corner to someone in the center and a quick shot right after helped me get the Hatrick tho I used a 20 min gane
After 1 game I have up. went 0-14

It's impossible to score in this game
I found that using Toronto and playing against Detroit seemed to help with scoring. Also, working on one timers seems to work. But if more and more people are having trouble scoring, I guess I know what my next video has to be. Thanks for the input.

@@areyouusingthatsquatrack8256 I just finished recording some footage. I played through New Playoffs and won the Stanley Cup. I'll edit the video and put it up as soon as I can. I honestly don't have a strategy, but I found ways to get goals, and I'll show it all in the next video.

I want to try this while it's on Gamepass... But I know I will end up failing to score... And what will normally be a 2-3 hour completion for most people will end up being a 10 hour completion for me

This game honestly blew, I’ve played a lot a games for gamer score but this one was just chaotic, it’s like the game new I was going for the achievements, I had to play 12 games just to get to overtime in the playoffs, the AI will pick out your going for certain achievements and will make it hell to try and do em, just one scenario I was up by a goal going into the 3rd I had the net empty the whole period the ai didint even take 1 shot to try and tie it and to make it even more of a piss off it won’t let you score on ur own net half the time, all I can say is the programmer definitely knew what they were doing for this one cuz damn
IF Detroit can’t score? Everyone knows that Detroit can’t score 😂

@@assassin_tai I think it's because I played this game all the time as a kid. The behind the goal trick still works on occasion when trying to score on the bottom net
I played this as a kid too, on the Sega Genesis. Could be why I had an easy run with it too.
I find it hard. I never played this but I have played the newer NHL games from EA and those are way easier for me. I found a workaround to losing in the playoffs though thanks to another guide, I only have the last achievement left which is pull the goalie then score but finding that difficult.
You'll never get all these achievements in two hours! Wasted a solid hour just trying to get a goal against overpowered CPUs...
Hey, I understand everyone's skill set is different, but I was able to do it in 2 hours, and many others have too, I'm sorry you weren't able to. If the cpu is overpowered, play against Detroit, they're a weak team.
How the hell do you make a goal???
For strategic mastermind, why do you need to pull the goalie twice?
The goalie was pulled originally because I was winning, and I wanted to be down a goal, that's the reason or pulling the goalie the first time, the second time is because that's what the achievement requires, "Pull the goalie in the last 3 min, a goal or more down, and win against the computer".
So like in hockey when you're down a goal and you pull the goalie for the extra attacker and score to tie it up.
This game is dog shit. Thanks for the guide though. It's a good guide.
This game is super old so it's meant for past generations. They could have at least integrated newer controls to make it easier instead of going with Sega Genesis controls, but oh well. Thanks for the compliment on the video, I do appreciate the feedback.

Haha, yeah I guess you're like me and you're used to the next generation versions. Pressing start on the controller is how it was done back on the Sega genesis. Today I believe its A on Xbox and X on Playstation. I hope this helps.

Because the game is in ea play, and Microsoft rewards is giving points to every achievements in Xbox one.
@@marcos_stonksson Well, I would suggest just playing the game and getting a feel for it. As you begin to feel more comfortable playing, you can refer to the guide for assistance.

Assuming at that time in 93
At that time Detroit had Scotty Bowman as the coach, and the Russian 5, they were a force. But when this came out for next gen, Detroit wasn't doing too well.
