Why aren't government policy makers or ministers invited and grilled and asked about their vision in resolving issues that are wrecking our country.

Great topic and panellists. I don't know why questions from the audience are always grandstanding, rather than thoughtful understanding and getting the best from the speakers.

    Really liked the point that
"Loans/Aids r not working at optimal level to foster sustainable growth but somehow it is keeping the wheel in motion rather than stagnancy at a sub-optimum level, keeping in view our intelectall bankrupt rulers who lack genuine plans to rescue the economy. "
and Dr. shahid deserves appreciation by reffering to the point in the name of capacity building, govt. servant pursued to join 6month Harvard course when he was supposed to retire in 3months😅.

The key to get out of the mess is to invest in education, to enable Pakistanis to know who to chose to govern the country and how to masses can hold these mafias or ruling elite who are exploiting this country and its resources

Aid is a matter a survival. Unless someone tells Pakistanis , Islam has not delivered and nobody is willing to tell that to Pakistanis , aid is going to be needed by Pakistanis

This was an extremely boring discussion.
I was expecting further discussion of facts of what was received, and how it was spent.
What amount was loans, and grants, where they came from, in which periods, and how grants, and loans were spent.
Is the ratio of grants to loans same as other countries, or different.
And, why after supporting the West in so many wars didn't Pakistan get more grants then loans.
This could have been a great discussion, but as usual with Pakistani discussions, it turns boring without a direction.

It is shocking to know that most of the people are telling the Donor agencies not to give loan/aid to Pakistan where it does not have capacity to utilise the aid for development.Butost of the time we hear that Politicians keep on harping that we are given this much of loan and Pakistan will rise again.Where most of the Aid/loan/ CPEC funds have gone? This has to be analysed.
Good luck to Pakistani Brothers and Sisters(ordinary citizens and not Elite)

It is not a rocket science to figure out all the aid and loans where looted by Pak Army and politicians. One has to ask question how come Pak a shit hole country with a begging bowl on a regular basis, but somehow Army chief/generals and politicians managed to amass wealth with homes abroad.

Any monies that non-Muslims can be somehow convinced to part with should be taken. So long as this money is never returned to non Muslims, this is halal money. Allah knows best and is most Merciful.
