i own an su 122-44 and 3rd mark since a long time ago , the only thing that's preventing this tank from being op is it doesn't have preferential matchmaking and being a tier 7 ( the worst tier in the game at least on eu) you get matched alot against tier 9

Agreed, if you're in a good matchup you can just own the enemy team, but if you get T8-9 then you'll struggle. Especially considering how brutal some T8 premiums are...

it's a shit tank. Any premium tank that need so much trouble ( gold ammo, consumables, directives, improved equipment and so on ) just to kill some t5 and 6 is not worth it.

It doesn't NEED it, it's just a lot easier to get good results with that setup. This vehicle is still good even with standard equipment.

@@baffishBut it does. Try it with a standard setup ( no gold, consumables, directives ) and see how it performs. Is less than average bot as gameplay and as income. Used to be okish, when TD's had bonus TD cammo and the maps were much more open with good sniping/ambush position, not in the current meta ( corridor maps huge frontal armor and gold spam ). I have the tank, for a long time, and maybe one out of 15-20 games is ok. The rest are against Scorpion G, Bourrasque and other t8's which will tear you into pieces. Also when you are facing t7 and 6 you have to be lucky enough to get a decent map that fits TD's capabilities.
What you just show in the video, besides the fact that is happening 1/100 games, a Scorpion G or a SU-130PM can do on regular basis with standard ammo and food maybe and also giving you tons of credits :) The point of premium tanks is to give you alot of credits with a decent and constant result, and SU-122-44 is far from it. In my opinion.

@@S0ulfy-vg9tz I agree with the fact that this game is going towards a corridor map, good armour, gold spam meta and personally I don't like it. But I would say this vehicle is less map reliant than the Skorp or the SU-130 PM, this vehicle has better camo, better DPM, and it can bounce lower tier tanks from time to time which is something that both tier 8s can't do. This vehicle is extremely strong when you get top tier even when you don't use gold or special equipment, so when you compare it to tier 8 TD's it will obviously be weaker as it is a tier lower. Also correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the SU-122-44 keep the camo after firing buff like the E25 as they are both old tier 7 premiums?

@@baffish sadly no. only the E-25 got that privilege :) With so many changes map and meta wise, so many wheeld lights in each mach, I would say camo became almost irrelevant. That's why WG is keep pushing heavy armored TD's nowadays in game. And as damond11111 said, T7 is the worse possible place to be atm.
