Hi ya sounds like you have had a busy week, bet you will be glad to get back to the whole school routine thing. For the adhd diagnosis i only did the questionnaire and school did one plus another sheet not sure what it was but went to his next appointment and was told yes he meets the criteria for an adhd diagnosis so im giving him it and was basically told bye see you in 6 months. Not great really and was the same after the ados was told yeah he meets the criteria here you go have a leaflet on autism bye see you in 6 months. The fight you have to go through to get any help is terrible really. We survived the first day back today at school, hopefully he will decide to go in tomorrow with minimal fights.
Glad to hear he went in ok today! Dreading this week tbh but also welcoming the normality. The diagnosis ending sounds really crap then! I guess il see what happens but they don’t even want to see us before this phone call so we’ve got no idea what it’s about! I’m just assuming it’s the outcome of the adhd test.
@@SheepdogSays it could well be, i guess you will just have to wait. The ending for us has been totally rubbish yes im sure its not the same for everyone. He's due another paediatrician appointment in march however when i called to book the appointment as i normally do i was told no you cant book it, one will be sent out to you which means i will be lucky to get one on the next 9 months. I wont of course i will call every week if i have to as school attendance is now being affected. Hopefully school will go smoothly for you this week as well as me, im counting down till half term already 😂
