15:18 I remember being very young. I was holding a lit Roman Candle in both hands and my Dad lifted me up to be facing the lake. Then it went off and you could actually feel the slight kickback from those things as it created sparks and noise. Marvelous firework.

I don't find low-noise fountains weird at all I actually enjoy them. What I found weird was the confetti cake I have never seen a cake that just shoots confetti as well as the smoke cakes very weird but cool.

8:58 when i lived in mexico growing up i loved buy these we called them abejitas. Nd they looked like little bees with wings. They would do the same thing but ours had a color to them and would shoot up in the air nicely

I love how you guys light off fountains with the unlit fireworks only 2 ft away easily within range of getting lit by the Sparks from the fountains. That's the kind of stuff that leads to the best unexpected fireworks displays.
Basically ,that "Daytime Confetti " firework is a mini version of those confetti cannons used at Raves and Music Festivals during the early evening when it is still light out . Pretty cool 😄 .

I watch CodyBs videos so I know what to buy when I shop for my fireworks for the year. He always has a lot of great Cakes and Fountains. I really like the Waikiki Fountain. Going to see if I can buy a case at Red Apple when I visit their Store in Nevada.. I'm sooooo looking forward to that trip, because I'll have the funds to buy anything I want by the case and that will also fit in the RV I'm going to rent for the trip. My B-day is on the 15th of July so I combine my B-Day with the 4th for the best B-Day Ever!! ;)

Yep silver fulminate is what pops and there is very very little used in popits. So when you take an entire gram of it. It can be very very loud
I have done the same with regular pop it’s and I used 12 packs with it in a paper towel lol and I threw it off my balcony and it was loud asfkk

Those roman candles are actually a cool concept, rather than loading the shells into racks per say, you can just have those going
And you can get them in 2” diameter unless they have been discontinued-they were 2” salute candles.

Cody. Take a speed ball and a 2 liter empty dry bottle. Light the speed ball and put it in the bottle close the cap and throw it so it goes off in mid air. If it doesn’t burn a hole in the side it explodes the bottle extremely fast from pressure. It’s insanely loud! Please just try it
For another loud BANG , take Alka-Seltzer tabs and break them up into chunks put them into warm water in a soda bottle ,then put the cap on tightly. Shake the bottle and toss it well away from you. The sound is astoundingly loud and no chance of fire . A way more dangerous ( I have done it , I DO NOT recommend it !!!!! ) trick is to take Drain-O " Crystals" ( about a tablespoon or so) and add them to a soda bottle with just enough water to cover the "crystals" into which several strips of aluminum foil have also been added . Tightly cap, and shake the bottle then throw it well away from You. Amazingly loud but the scalding hot water and Drain-O solution can go a considerable distance once the bottle explodes . This can be very dangerous should anyone get hit with the plastic fragments from the bottle or the solution . The sound was loud enough that my Friends and myself thought for sure the Cops would be called. We all went into my Friend's Apartment and laid low for quite a while. Home-made " noise makers " can be dangerous and even illegal ,so DO NOT attempt without permission from Law Enforcement and NEVER attempt the " Drain-O ,water and aluminum soda bottle " trick . It was a miracle that we weren't arrested or made to pay a huge fine .

It's difficult to hear the fireworks. You need to use some different kind of audio recorder that does not go loud/soft based upon the ambience around it.
I remember one year in the 80 "s I got a load with a Roman candle like firework that was 6 or 8 shot and it had a break of gold that looked better then the cheap festival balls. I think they were called Magnolia s , never seen them again

I like light a pack or two or three of the speed balls in an open area as you just don't know where they're going to fly to, but what a great zipper type sound! I was also impressed by the Mini Shells. They had much bigger breaks and brighter colors then I expected. I felt the same about the Roman Candles. What brand are they, as I didn't hear you mention their Brand and Candle Packs Name's, as I'd like to pick some up for my pre-show fun. Great job on showing some of the smaller stuff and daytime fireworks that can be just as fun as the bigger Night Time Fireworks!

14:45 these candles are better then the 6 sided 7 shot 200 grams, those cakes tip and these candles fit into a DR11 tueb. Looks like you can fit 4 a tube x6 x5 is 120 shot. If you quick fuse that together that is a good middle show.

I love those Speed Balls. Whenever I see them I buy a bunch of them. They never last long around me. I like those pill shaped things with propeller type wings in the center as well. One time I got some of those that were double chambered where they flew up super high started falling then relight and go even higher.
Now those sound cool. I'll have to see if I can find some when I do my shopping spree in Pahrump Nevada and visit all the Firework Stores in preparation for my show on the 4th of July in 2022. Thanks for the suggestion!! :)

I have a New Years eve party kit from phantom fireworks except there’s no fireworks at all period nothing to light not even poppers to throw. It was just party hats and noise makers and blow toys and hats and stuff obviously for NYE. I kept the box and a few of the items from around the party. I still have it. It’s above my fridge with the cereal boxes blends right in.
i remember i got a pack of super snaps, emptied the entire pack, put them all in my hand, went into the parking lot, and threw and of them like a frisbee, and it sounded like a Vietnam flashback!

Back in the 70's I had a firework called Flashing Thunder, it was about the same size as a piccollo pete, it shot a explosive up to about eye level and went off with a huge bright explosion. I haven't seen them since

What you call 'pop it's, we called 'cracker balls' when I was kid (a long, long time ago). They were not much bigger than a pea and would emit a little 'snap' when thrown hard. Love your channel!!

*I absolutely love fireworks, and **_the bigger and louder the better!_* I am not a Karen, but I agree with a lot of folks that *loud fireworks are just not right for most residential neighborhoods.* They scare the hell out of our pets - some of them are not right for hours and hours afterward. There are several households in my neighborhood that use commercial grade shells every 4th of July and New Year's Eve. Usually a dozen or so each season. Sounds like 4" to 6" shells too, very big and house shaking - I always have a lap-full of dogs every time, whimpering and shaking. I had one dog a few years back that actually tried to chew through a wall, trying to get away from the noise. *Please consider others* when you have fun. *I NEVER tell people what to do,* because I believe everyone has the freedom to make their own choices, even bad ones. I have made my opinions known around our neighborhood and try very hard to be friendly and non-aggressive when doing so. Sometimes I am met with angry personalities, basically telling me to f-off. But once in a while, there is a friendly and understanding person too, who gets it, going to public displays the following years. Most neighborhood associations ban loud fireworks also. *_In the end folks, have fun, be safe, be considerate of others, and most of all, use common sense when using pyrotechnics!_*

3:15 I had just baught 2 of those there small but there loud I also shot them off are quarry so it coudlve echoed but still. I also got some Roman candles like those and something called the seismic wave which is a firecracker with little tiny firecrackers in it and theres like 60 or 100 in em plus several other mortars including boom shockalocka by megabanger. My edit I live in mass and baught them at phantom fireworks in Seabrook new Hampshire

Cody, how about a video comparing NOABs to reloadable mortars.
I did some figuring and it appears, at least to me, that reloadables are a better value and you get more bang for the buck.
NOABs are limited to 500 grams (on average less than 60 grams/shot), a decent mortar kit usually has 24 shots at 60 grams each or 1440 grams of awesomeness.
I'd like to hear an expert's opinion.
I get that the NOABs are prefused for a specific effect but if you put in a little brain power and a little elbow grease, you can do the same with tube racks.
The mini shells are sometimes nice because they don’t launch as high. So, even though it’s a much smaller ball it still looks nice.

Idk why he calls the block fireworks for cake. We call them Batteries here, because they look like a car battery, usually similar weight and the inside is just as powerful.
Roman Candles with breaks have been around over here in the UK for years, even back in the says when all fireworks were made here and not imported from China, shame the parachute didn't open!

I always thought the whole idea was to be as loud, flamboyant and obnoxious as possible.
last year we had a big firework show and picked up one of the silent modes thinking it was a cake as it was in the cake section and didnt know till we lit it. it sent sparks all over are other firework thankfully none went off
