I've worked in one of ships fifty years ago and it was very very very very boring! and very very very filthy! The dust goes through everywhere in the ship and hallways.. it takes the deck hands and the stewards a couple of days to clean up the ship working overtime... whether you loading or unloading the ship.. aspecialy if you carry ore... There's nothing you want to be part of... nothing!
@@SeaAffair I totally understand...! I did my my time already and besides my earlier comments...! I also have great memories and lots of friends shipmates... Good luck to you and stay healthy now...
Unfortunately, it's needed. Ballast is almost counterintuitive. It needed to be removed evenly. Or it could sink. Liquid ballasts move faster than solids.
With materials like that they have to remove the cargo evenly. If not the ship will tilt to the side and more of the material will shift to that side. That's why the claws are pulling from the center. They have to do something similar when transporting grains. Particularly rice.
Why doesn’t the ship have a giant auger and feed it onto a conveyor belt?
To take the discharge cargo to the location as required
So Satisfying to watch ❤
Yes mam
Could watch all day, lol ❤
Thank you so much
Its gonna take all day! 😊
