Yeah, using it on a light switch makes no sense, and honestly when i first saw one of these, i couldn't figure out what one would use one for. Fast forward to much later when my tankless hot water heater would sometimes error out and need to be reset, there's not a real switch you can make smart, and walking down to the garage when you're trying to take a shower is not optimal, so i put one of these over it's button and made an Alexa routine that triggers my hub to push it twice to turn it off and on again so i dont have to get dressed to just go reset it.
Put another switcher on top of the 1st switcher to turn it off to save battery life...to save the battery of that switcher, stick on another switcher to switch off that switcher once it has switched off the first switcher. But don't forget to stick on another switcher to power off the 3rd switcher once it has switched off the 2nd switcher that has switched off the 1st one after it has switched off the light switch so that the battery of the 1st switcher doesn't drain to zero. To save the battery life of the 4th switcher, stick another switcher onto it, after it has switched off the 3rd switcher that has switched off the 2nd switcher that has switched off the 1st switcher of which was tasked to switched off the light switch. Then go crazy and get more switcher to switch off the switchers that has helped you to save battery life of other switchers.
This is especially useful when all your job is to watch the cctv and push the button. This device can help you do the job from anywhere in the world. 😂😂

So make a device that would turn it on remotely, with relay and ESP8266. Even if it's dirt cheap I wouldn't buy it. For the price (20 bucks) you could just build your own device better than this
