There is no metric that says Paige is better than CC: excitement, scoring, influence. If CC was boring like Keyshawn said, then Cube wouldn’t have offered her 5m.

This is the first i heard about the suggestion that the WNBA needs to move to another continent, but since women’s basketball is so popular overseas maybe they could have 14 expansion teams in Europe, divide the league into separate conferences and then have them play a championship against with the winners of each conference playing.

It’s going to be harder for her in the WNBA because she will be playing against the best of the best professional grown women from the last 15 years. Caitlin is the better passer and averaged more this season and in the elite 8 game, Iowa had 4 players play 37+ minutes to the UConn 3. And Iowa only had 8 players play. Two played less than 5 minutes. Every UConn player played more than 15 mins.
And yet everyone on the bench of UConn are higher ranked then majority of iowas roster. I’m sorry but if you need the avengers to take down thanos you aren’t good. If Iowa win this title it’ll be the most impressive thing any player has accomplished. Taking down 3 teams with the lesser team.

You should love for her to go to Big 3 because it is only 10 games and if it went well that mean there would be that much more opportunity for others. As well as comingling a fan base. What the WNBA and its fanbase dont realize is that they have a product that people currently dont want. How do you change that? Expose people to a woman playing with men and they will see "hey women can hold there own if given opportunity." Instead they think small picture and want to limit Clark. Also why hate on Cube even if he was disingenuous they could use the marketing. Cube is doing it for the marketing and they could play into that as well. It could get to a point where you have to play a wnba player in for a separate league. She also doesnt get that these stars can shine in college and in NBA they will not be as dominant. If they keep the momentum and stay it would build their fanbase faster just from the correlation of people now watching women on regular basis an becoming fans of multiple players on a team which would increase the chances they watch multiple WNBA teams in the future. geeeesshh

The WNBA needs a whole new management & marketing team. The women's game is not the problem. They y have to find a way to compete with the NCAAW, and that's a hard place to be in because you're talking about finding synergy between a struggling pro league & an American institution. There are college teams in virtually every city, but the pros have a limited group of teams with a limited number of roster spots. Then you, again, aren't drawing in college fans, so the buzz ain't buzzin'.

She is getting more press cause she is on Gils Arena and not for her on court talent. Last year in 12 games, she finally averaged in double digits. Oh the sky, she played 3 minutes per game and averaged 2 points the championship year.
