Honestly I've had it for 3 month, this controller is amazing for small to big events , better than rane one!!! Don't let the prices fool you for these controllers.i have the innofader upgrade., this is the best moto platters machine 😊
If you want to emulate vinyl and cut for under 700 this is the right thing. Got the innofader upgrade and it’s a very nice unit but will never leave my bedroom.
Hi, on virtual DJ the pitch faders feel stuck on a bpm on the software. I have to move pitch fader up and down a few times on the controller to make it work again. Is this a feature of virtual DJ that can be switched off? Cheers
I would keep the 1200s and even a cheap mixer like the Numark Scratch over this at home. The main appeal of this is moving platters on a very portable controller.
My unit also did the freezing thing too! It only seems to happen at a Hugo Boss that I was DJing over the Holiday season. I played at a different store at the same mall, and it wasn't happening there, and I also could not make it happen at home. I wonder what the issue is.
I took a power conditioner, Numark NVii and a PC laptop with me the next time I played that location, and ended up switching to the NVii. I could not figure out what was causing the disconnection, though it seemed to always happen when I moved the crossfader. I use a 10 channel mixer with my DJ setup so the mic input thing is never an issue for me. A two band eq is never satisfactory for me for a mic, and my mixer has a 4 band parametric EQ, so I'm never going back to using any on-board mic pre.
I have an Inpulse 500, that I've been very happy with. And while the motorized platters are nice, I just don't see enough here to justify 2.5x the price.
@@discjockeynews DJs with RCAs could simply use an active DI box, like Behringer's Ultra-DI DI20 to get the balanced outputs. That's $30 plus some patch cables, some 9v batteries and you're playing with the pros without causing headaches for the sound guy.

I almost purchased this but I wasn’t sure it would hold up to weekly mobile gigs. It would be nice for home use.

I like the look of the 500.. but, with a bit better mic input, and XLR outputs over RCA.. the T7 will give a bit more flexibility to mobile DJs..
