Listening to this it is sad, but most of the speakers are well spoken. They have the strength to move from the ghetto. It’s a mind set. They should set the Trend/example. Educate themselves and give ghetto yutes faith that they can still rise. Besides whatever mistakes you’ve done, repent and refocus...You alive cause God has granted you another chance to be different. Trust yourself and effectuate change.

I felt it when he said that St. Lucians should continue the trend of producing Noble laureates. I think that the potential is there it will manifest, adversity can motivate and necessity is the mother of invention. St. Lucia and St. Lucians are a Gem. They are gonna work their shit out and WOW the world.

The man eating from the trash is obviously mentally infirm. I live in Canada and see them eating from the trash well, it has nothing to do with St Lucia.

Wow!!!! I honestly do feel the pain of my people. This documentary broke me honestly. It's high time that something gets done for the less fortunate back home. Many of those men are well spoken. The elder was on point big time. Please guys, keep ur heads up! Do the right thing and stay positive❤ 🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨

Ghetto life is partially a mindset. SLU is not the land of opportunity but everyone has a choice on how they live their lives. St Lucians are fortunate because they have land and natural resources...why choose, drugs or violence when there is the opportunity to work the land? SLU youth now choose the ghetto life because it looks cool or they feel it makes them look tough. Overall, peoples lives are shaped by choices they make on the journey. In addition, the SLU govt and advocates need to create opportunities to engage the youth(ghetto or not), revamp school curriculum, more vocational learning, stop wasting all this money on tourism and look to create a secondary source of revenue to create more career options and economic growth.

Failure teaches success anything the mind can conceive you can achieve, you have to work a little harder a little smarter never given up on your dream.the moment you change some of the negative influences in your life everything starts to change.change some of your friends who are negative make friends with the ones that's positive.join the library open up your minds to different possibilities , there is a world of opportunities in the library browse the internet, read do some searching .nothing venture nothing gain.life is harder when you do nothing to change it.positive ever be negative never pray it changes everything, never let your left hand know what the right hand is doing.people who may be a negative influences around you might just be the ones blocking your blessing.🙏✌👍🙌👍

I feel sorry for none of those people, half of those people In this video will give you a 6 for a 9 on the first second of you giving them a work or going into business with them. Most of those people cant elevate because they alway want to eat someone and what they don't understand is whatever your hustling it will come to an end. Business cant grow in castries because they're the ones shooting and robbing castries so how can job be available for your kids, how can castries have an economical growth if your robbing small business people in the city. How can the banks have money or issue loans if they can see the city ambition and a pillar of ghetto yutes improving on their behaviour. Now your saying police must come with cookies and a smile towards savages in ghetto. The people up cap estate my be criminals but they know how to do their shit properly. In life its not what you do its how you do it and castries ghetto yours are sloppy since Compton day. Yes alot of creative people come from the ghetto but ask yourself why are they not going back to pull others out🤔

With all due respect I think youre mixing to many things in one pot. Poverty is alive n well all across the globe so in OUR little ST.Lucia I can honestly understand the STRUGGLES. Just a little bit of empathy goes a longggg way. Yes, there are bad apples in the bunch, but bottom line is, we need jobs, jobs, jobs and recreational facilities to motivate the yutes dem, so we dont have the problems you complain about. No one wants to be in this situation, its just the hand they were dealt with, be it growin up, poverty, family life or a number of things. People like you and I, can lend a hand in any possible way that we can to help our people who is looking for a better way out instead of throwing them under the bus.....just saying 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤❤🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨

@@sherry19017 I grew up among them from Conway to grass street to marchard bulvard. Many people have tried to help them provide job even donate. Question are those people protecting castries because last time i check all the small business are getting robbed.Pass around the cdc at the wrong time and see if the good apples will beg the bad apple to leave you alone 😂😂😂
