Honestly surprised there wasn’t any vomiting involved with this one, or maybe at least some dry heaving. They should have sent the guy some kind of care package like they do when you catch a 400th or 500th HR ball. Poor guy had an entire stadium, plus the players laughing at his pain.

It would have been great if it was his first career homerun. Telling the story years later, "My first homerun, we didn't know it was a homerun until we watched a young guy get hit in the balls with it on the big screen. The whole dugout went absolutely nuts."

I don't watch baseball, I just watch Jomboy. And I'm pretty sure baseball hasn't started up...given everything else, it couldn't have, right? But I don't know! The way Jomboy posts, it's always baseball season. Just keep digging through the archives to make more breakdowns and never mention when the bits actually took place and I'll never know what's actually going on with baseball in real time. Baseball is just an endless stream of events that I guess happened at some point, who knows?!

This is likely among the worst things that've ever happened to this guy: Had a relatively easy catch on a homerun ball hit right to him, only to not catch it, be in a world of pain, and get laughed at by an entire stadium of fans and players. Hard to top that.
I heard a story once about 3 friends who went to a baseball game sometime in the 19-teens or 20s. They were sitting 3 in a row and one of the guys on the end passed an open pocket knife to the guy on the other end and, just as it was passing the guy in the middle, it was hit by a foul ball which drove the knife into the guy's chest and killed him.

Watched this because I am a Pirates fan and I have to say, this might be the funniest one I have ever seen. The buddy laughing on a loop was perfect. The manager trying to hold back his laughter and the entire stadium watching while he hides his head made this too good.
