Seeing all of this food going to waste is the most saddens me. So many children going hunger. This really pissing me off I am sorry for the bad language. I hope these young men really took alot. Love,sharon white

Too bad you couldn't call a shelter to grab some of the food. It is cold enough that as long as it is cooked well it should be safe to eat. what a waste.😊
Seeing this hurts my soul!!! That store could have called the local food banks and homeless shelters to come clear out their freezers before they threw it all away!!! I hope you guys made a dent in it atleast and was able to take a bunch of it!

Hopefully others were able to share your wealth make sure you clean up after because that will keep them from locking up the dumpsters ....So shouting from Phoenix Arizona Valley of the sun where we don't dare DD in 120 degree heat but you guys are cool to watch and have awesome spirits so good for you on your come up and you guys back there in those states are lucky as heck 😂😂
Some stuff is still good without refrigeration other stuff will kill you. It may be cold outside but the stuff was in a heated store. Depending on when the refrigeration went off and the temperature reached and time the food was in the danger zone. (Above 45° below 120°)
Alot of the pizza and other food stuff could be filled with deadly bacteria even though it's cold outside.
Food is already contained it's just refrozen which doesn't kill the deadly bacteria in the food.
The fruit and vegetables are good just be sure to wash them well before eating.
The rest of the stuff I would not trust especially after seeing the ice cream.
The ice cream has been outside in freezing temperatures but still not frozen.
That tells me It was completely thawed there for small item without as much bulk was defiantly thawed and in the danger zone for several hours before being thrown away and refreezing.
Rescue and donate.

Wow ..its so sad for owners when have grid out ...MAJOR HIT TO THEIR BUDGETS ..I FEEL FOR THEM TOO ..BUT AWESOME..ITS LIKE IF YA HAVE A HOUSE ..ID BE BUYING EXTRA UP RIGHT FREEZERS FOR SPACE .TO STORE EXTRA FINDS ..LONG AS STUFF DONT GO UNDER FRIG TEMPS 40 OR ABOVE ..YOU CAN HURRY AND THROW IN FREEZER AND SAVE ..SERIOUSLY ..GET THAT STUFF STILL COLD ..SOMEWHERE QUICK ..CALL ALL YA KNOW ..TELL COME AND START GRABBING BEFORE ROOM TEMPERATURE HITS ...NEED TRUCK OR 2 FOR SURE ..AWESOME DUDES ..COOL
The store has insurance for just such a occurrence. Every thing is inventoried before it is thrown away. The insurance company will pay for everything that was thrown away.
The food can't be given to anyone or a food bank because it could be contained with deadly bacteria and kill whoever ate it.
The store would then be sued into oblivion.

This is why there's a food shortage.. all of it gets tossed out..
