Y’all made the show Nashville. You advertised the city on cable TV as the place to be. Real estate agents encouraged transplants to move here. Yet you all failed to upgrade the infrastructure of transportation to handle the increased population and traffic flow. Davidson county officials concerned themselves with profits over quality of life in Nashville, especially for the families that’s been here for generations.
I feel like I don't have the right to voice an opinion, considering we are not TN natives - but my goodness things have really worsened in the past 17 years! You're so right about the lack of infrastructure. It's so frustrating.
@@RabbitWatchShop Clearly you don't use the airport that often. This traffic began only a few weeks ago with the start of a new construction phase. Furthermore, the city officials will be able to upgrade things because of the increased revenue brought in from the "transplants".
Literally a 2 mile backup stretching all the way to 440 on Sunday night for the airport. JUST the airport. No wreck, no rush hour. Half a million people in the last decade and you did what, build 840?? Every city planner here should be fired.
Use to be known as the 20 minute city.. i promise you back then you could cross town in that time.... my beloved city fucking ruin now.... all new peopl just dont realize what was here...generation of family's.. gone.
I miss the days of my childhood. driving from Antioch to my church near downtown took 20-30 minutes tops. now, I'll be lucky to make it down to the chick-fil-a near my folks' place in that much time
As a rideshare driver. Sunday is the worst. I remember one Sunday going 1 mph. Traffic was all the way on the highway.
Fly out on Tuesday, return on Tuesday. Always works for me.

I arrived on the 24th and left the 28th, I did not see any traffic or people walking on the interstate. If anything, it was an empty airport.
TSA is wasting too much time looking for people with cash for the DEA to seize without ever charging them with a crime.

Yup. I could go from Antioch to north Nashville in about 20 minutes or less.
