Schubert...the young master! You can tell that the first violin riff in the first movement was something Schubert had stuck in his head for a while and just had to get down on paper....I'm very thankful he did, it's stuck in my head almost everyday 200 years later! Forever grateful

Not to discount the performers! Top-notch, soulful, masters of their respective instruments! Thank you for bringing this music to life! Otherwise it would forever remain hidden on paper, just markings on a page unheard by all

"heikel" doesn't really make a lot of sense here. You've probably translated from "delicate"; if so, a fitting German word would be "fein" or "zart". Apart from that I love your creation "wundernatürlich"; sounds good to me. :)

Wunderbar, wunderbar! OK. I'm American. I mean "Fantastic!" This is my favorite string quartet. I love it, even more than any of the Beethoven quartets. This one speaks to me, always has. You guys played it SO WELL! I thank you for sharing it with us. Please, play on! Cheers! ET

For me, the G Major Schubert Quartet is the high point of human history.

A very strange experience listening to this on headphones. There is so much separation that it's almost as if I have 4 ears, each only able to hear one instrument. Quite enlightening in a way, but also hard work. It's also quite brutal, showing up any inaccuracies (of which there are few) in a very cold light. Total contrast, in an enjoyable way, to my favourite, the Lindsay's recording.
