Mantic, please don’t give up on Vanguard and supporting that game as well. My gaming group loves and plays Kings of war, but we play Vanguard as well! It’s a fantastic game! There is so much good to say about Vanguard and it complements but does not replace kings of War. Please don’t stop supporting this terrific game.
The optimistic part of me wants to believe that Vanguard is simply “waiting its turn” that new support will come in time. However the pessimist in me is leaning more towards vanguard is in maintenance mode.

This sounds amazing, even as someone who has purchased all the supplements. I'm just generally always excited for whatever KoW has on the way.

How about a lovely modular plastic castle box to put those siege rules to good use?
I like small cases with 500pts in em , from all different systems. Ambush is great 👍 and I can even do armies like goblins. This is a big selling point for kings of war , everything in one place £35. Or companies like GW fleece you for 10 books 📚
Starter set. Goblins Vs Ratkin. But no army list for Ratkin. At £85 you can't play half the box. I am absolutely astounded it was released like this.
I think you’ve hit the nail right on the head with this. The one book + the ambush rules might really be the proverbial kick in the pants that gets all the interested players in my local meta to start kings of war

All starters will get a new book and there will be EoD vs Ogres starter too. As Ronnie mentioned in the video.
Let us assume for a moment that I am a completely new perspective player, looking to get the rules and all the current army lists in print format. Does the Compendium cover all that, or would I still need to get the Uncharted Empires book? It sounds like it collects it all into the one book and wouldn't need the UE book, but figured I should ask to be sure.
Kings of War is a living game. Makes sense to have an app.

Companies like mantic should start stealing GW customers , I started a Horus heresy army but pricing is bonkers. £15 for head upgrades and £35 for a traitor guard squad in kill team. I’m 41 love Warhammer. But it’s just too insane know I had 500 points models alone cost £80 then paints and books 📚 I had 11 terminators ! That’s £80 for 11 terminators ! I’m done Il give this a try 100% I like the paint range why not
