Hi everyone
I wanted to wish you a merry Christmas and happy new year, I hope it will be a good one for you all. I've been in a crazy full on writing mode these last few months and I'm now going through everything I have with Mally, my musical soul mate, and I'm weaving this record together. It's been a real labour of love, I hope you will like it. I've been listening to Mac Demarco, Tame Impala's new record, Beethoven and Bruce Springsteen's Jungleland.. ! Oh, and also a beautiful soundtrack by Ennio Morricone called 'Sacco e Vanzetti' which Patrick Wolf sent me, it features Joan Baez, it's definitely worth a listen..

There was band from Detroit called The Gories that did a great cover of this song in the late 1980’s. I did get to see Suicide play live in Asheville NC in October 2011 which was a incredible show. This is a great video!!

Awesome interpretation Ms Calvi. I am a die hard Suicide fan since long before seeing them live in '78, sandwiched between their hosts The Clash and the 'Coventry' Specials.
I managed to see their Marquee gig in '78, which was the most atmospheric event of the year, only equalled by their final ever gig at the Barbican in 2015, just a year before Alan Vega passed. You are keeping their passion for social witness and documentary going.
I hope to see you perform it live again one day. Much love. Rock on!
