Can you imagine what it’s like to 12 years old, dressed in that gown, having a full professional orchestra behind you including a choir and thousands in the audience! And she pulls it off with poise , charm and a great smile. Amazing.

I've followed this miracle since she won the talent show and she still gets the tears flowing. Her ability to express the soul of the music is astonishing. Have you noticed how she goes into herself when she sings, and then gets the silly, beautiful smirk when she is done. Thanks for your comments, I think you have found a new pleasure in life.
She is 12 here. Born March 2004. This performance was November 2016. She had received training by this time and had recorded two albums with Sony Records. This performance was in S. Africa where she moved with her mother and brother a year later. She is now 17.

She was only 12. She is the best.she had a vocal coach following her winning of the talent show. It polished up her natural ability. She is completely at ease on the stage, just gets into the zone.

Soul don't be a stranger to Amira. She's an amazing talent and still just a teenager. My advise is to react chronological. However you should react to her performance of Ave Maria Gomez at the tender age of 11yo. it will leave you speechless. Amira is becoming quite versatile now. She sings opera. classics, crossovers and even musicals. In my opinion the most beautiful voice on the planet.

amira has her own singing coach now. but her voice is natural voice. she just sings. and the beautiful sounds just come out. she been blessed by mother nature. or god if you wish.

She said to the judges on that talent show (forget the name), where she was found and which I believe she won, that she was just listening to YT videos and learned from them before she participated on that show.

Oops, I forgot to give you the information you requested. Yes, Amira engaged a vocal coach shortly after winning Holland’s Got Talent & has since performed in some 20 countries and sung in at least five languages. Hope this helps.

She now has a former soprano as her vocal coach, saying Amira has a unique tone, with a quality likened to that of a bell which rings in your head long after the note has been ‘struck’
Stunningly beautiful. I watched a video of Amira singing with Alma Deutscher. The sang one of the songs from Alma's first full opera, Cinderella, which she completed by age 11. If you have not checked out Alma, then you absolutely should as she our modern day Mozart.

There are two versions, one outside and one in a church. They are having fun mugging as the stepsisters.
Alma has been going to school learning to conduct. Last month, she conducted a somewhat revised CINDERELLA in San Jose, California. Recently, Cinderella was suddenly ill in Salzburg, and Alma played the part in German on three hours notice.

For me that performance by Amira of Nessun Dorma is her best ever. She was beautiful and her performance was breathtaking. it always brings me to tears. Hi Soul, I wholeheartedly support your reaction. Amira certainly tears your heart apart easily leaving you in tears. What the world has to understand and acknowledge is that this is not merely world class but the new world class or Amira has really lifted the bar. Love that young girl who at seventeen has now become a wonderful young woman.

Well soul, some singers use sound techniques to appeal to the audience, but Amira is Pure sound, so smooth, with a octave range matched by none. there was a song written for her grandmother who died during the Holland Got Talent competition which she sings alone without an orchestra or choir, which will touch more than your heart, I'll bet you shed a tear or two.

I stumbled on Amira before I even heard of reaction channels. Yeah she is amazing! She is now 17 and has lived in south Africa for several years. She has had voice lessons. I tend to think of Amira alongside Angelina jordan. They were both born with with amazing ability which they improved on. They both had hearts for children when the were still children themselves! Amira started a fund for poor south African children to build playgrounds for them with winnings from the talent show like Angelina. They are both very humble. Maybe someone else can list more similarities. I haven't listened to Amira as much I used to, but when I do, I still get goose bumps! 🤠

You ask if she has had professional training. Absolutely, she has worked with professional voice trainers since she was 10 and each year she seems to be even better than the prior year. She's now 18 and ranked among the very top sopranos. Her ability to sing incredible notes and show no sign of straining is what amazes most reviewers. The incredible purity of her voice is just unmatched by any one else.

I love your emotional reactions to this young lady who is bringing a new dimension to Opera. She is taking Opera to a completely new level with clarity & power unheard of in the Operatic world. Listen to as many Sopranos as you like, but Amira stands out for her clean, clear & powerful voice.

Like almost all of the worlds best at anything once others recognized their talent they took serious steps to nurture and develop their talent/gift. I saw a doco where even her singing coach says her voice is unique

Suggest watching one of her recent performances, "Amira streaming Christmas concert 2020 - The Lord's Prayer, " Decemner 2020.
She is an apprentice with the SA orchestra. Both her parents are musicians. She has full professional training, guided by her Mother who is a classically trained violinist. Amira is training with a Opera coach and has other music lessons too. Remember being from Holland and living in SA she speaks approx 6 languages including Afrikaans. 13 yrs old here. She is outstanding. She was training with the coach of Patrizio Buanne, (Italian opera singer) who has befriended Amira and her family. She may also be traveling to Italy or additional opera singing lessons. Not sure if this is still the case. Love your reaction. Isn't she great!! :)
Here is Amira, taken from her December Christmas concert streamed world wide from her home now in South Africa. She was 16 then and is now 17, so this is current. Ranked two years ago as one of the 35 "all time" greatest female Opera singers, she sings in at least seven languages and many genres. I love Amira!! Remember Sohyang? She has a best friend names "PARK KI-YOUNG", who is one year older and has sung contemporary pop and some rock for 20 years. Well, she wanted to try Classical. And boy did she. She sang "NELLA FANTASIA"!!! WOW did she sing it!!! Please check it out!!
Soul there's lots of people saying she has a vocal coach who is also her manager after she dumped Sony records because they wanted to rule her whole life. Her coach is Corlea Botha whole she sang a beautiful 😍 of the Flower Duet you've got to look at that it will blow your away.

At 7 she was self-trained from TV. Now she has five years of top class training.
Her lungs are from being a winning long distance runner.
