He had a racist mom, she threatened me with a gun, said horrible things about me and she broke us up. He kinda choose her and it hurt me, and that was the beginning of my tower moment.
He believes in-forced gender roles, Christianity, and he’s very sexual. which there’s nothing wrong with that but I felt trapped.
I found myself through my shadow moment and I started to feel like a new person. Someone I never was and I was healing.
Then he contacted me months later but since our separation I’ve healed a good portion of my things and he hasn’t. Also I realized I couldn’t lie to him about me. So I told him kinda who I was now because you can’t have a relationship off of lies.
And the scary part was he accepted me. And that was my red flag. I understood he loved me but it didn’t feel true in my heart. It felt like since I gave him attention before he was clingy onto me because he was lonely and I was the only one he had left ( his words not mine)
I could not be trapped in this drama situation with him, so I told him I couldn’t worry about his family not liking me for my race (also because I realized he was still immature, naive, and unhealed but I wasn’t gonna tell him that 🤫)
So me setting my boundaries really hurt him but it had to be done 😕 I feel horrible but I had to be true to myself because I’m not even sure if I loved him in the first place. I feel like we trauma bonded without realizing it.

#3: We talked during my freshmen year, was supposed to be casual, I caught feelings, he didn’t follow through a ton (I deserved better) but I fell hard anyways. I confessed and he said he wasn’t emotionally ready as he had just gotten out of a relationship and was still dealing with that baggage.
