We went through the Sound on Sunday, 29th July, on the P&O ship 'Oriana'. It was a most wonderful experience to go through on such a calm day. To see the 10,000 feet high mountains on either side of the Sound. The day was very still and clear. It was such a privilege to have the opportunity to see the Sounds wonder. From what the ship's captain said, everything must be right to go through and on this day, it did. Such a unique experience.
