Banish IBS Session 2 - Free Hypnotherapy recording with Steve Burgess

  • Hypnotherapy has been proven to be extremely effective at reducing Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms. Although the best approach is to see a competent therapist to work on the underlying emotional causes of IBS, playing hypnotherapy recordings filled with positive suggestions and visualisations really can help as it re-programmes the mind to make changes in the body. Before you play the four IBS recordings that are here on Hypno4all (Banish IBS 1 - 4) , I recommend playing the following recordings first, in the following order: 1: Total Relaxation; 2: Become More Confident; 3: Heal Past Hurts. Each of these seven recordings in this IBS protocol needs to be played regularly - at least several times per week to gain the maximum benefit. You can either play each recording for several weeks before you move on to the next one (finally finishing with the four IBS recordings for several weeks each), or can play each recording in the protocol consecutively as a cycle over and over. This IBS programme can help you to release IBS from your body and get your life back.

    Thanks for this series. I will use regularly. I am convinced that ibs is a "mind body syndrome ", at least for me. Not just the GI "brain" but the microbiome itself is stress-influenced. Seems quite a bit of studies showing this. But also i wonder about worrying too much about triggers (kind of an avoidance mechanism, for those where the root cause is anxiety/depression?). You are probably aware of Dr Sarno pioneering work and now quite a bit of growing interest and evidence. I have other MBS issues like chronic pelvic pain, and find they can be co-morbid. So nice to find a therapist who seems to understand the importance of not just reducing stress, but getting at the underlying emotions and disregulation that are at root. To me, hypnotherapy seems a logical adjunct to "pain reprocessing therapy" in the MBS world (somatic work, emotional expression etc), though still early days i guess because i dont see a lot of it being mentioned.       Hi Rohit, sorry to read of your issues with IBS-C. To get the most out of this hypnotherapy healing process, you need to play all of the recordings in the IBS protocol regularly (in other words, play a recording several times a week).     Diagnosed with IBS last month, started my probiotics. A friend suggested hypnotherapy... came across this as the most soothing to my ears...
    I feel super relaxed.. However, so much so that I feel dizzy and I cant stop myself from dozing off completely... I usually cant wake up fresh before a 1hour nap after hearing this session..
    I wonder if its normal as a beginner to hypnotherapy ?

      Hi Bratati, I'm not absolutely sure why you're struggling to come back to full wakefulness after playing the recordings. It could be that your body is holding onto a lot of tension and when you relax and go into trance you're letting go of a lot of the tension and you therefore feel super-relaxed afterwards. Sometimes, the time of day that you play a recording can affect how deep you go (eg if you play mid-afternoon or in an evening it's usual to go deep into relaxation). You might like to try playing them in a morning (and sitting up rather than laying down) as you may go less deep. I hope that helps.       @@hypno4all509 I completely agree. I have been going through a tough time and these recordings actually give me the little relaxation I really need.
      And I do play them mid-afternoon, laying down on my bed to feel all good.
      I will follow your advice and try the recording in morning, seated comfortably and see if that helps.

    Very relaxing, but I found that I'm dizzy after this and other hypnotherapy videos. Why is this?

      Hi Carrie, I'm really not sure why you experience that. I wonder if it's some sort of energy shift going on, or could it be that you're breathing more deeply when you go into trance and you're getting more oxygen into your brain than usual? I know that I've occasionally in the past had a client who have felt as if they were spinning as I guided them into hypnosis (and again I'm not sure why that is) but it sounds like you're experiencing something different to that. Hopefully it will begin to ease down as you continue to play the recordings, but if it continues and it makes you feel uncomfortable maybe it will be best to stop playing them. Sorry I can't give you a more definitive answer.

    I'm sorry to put up a negative comment, but I think maybe you need better recording equipment or you need to change something about your proximity to the microphone. I listened to some, and it seemed as though it might be a nice hypnosis vid, if I wasn't getting this sharp sounding distortion or whistling every time that you make an 'S' sound, and sometimes 'T' sounds and 'D' sounds too. Basically any words you are forming by pressing your tongue to the roof of your mouth, are creating this sharp sound that doesn't allow me to relax even if I turn the volume way down to try to reduce the off-setting persistent sound. Maybe play around with distance before your next recording, because it sounds like those sounds were over loading the microphone so that it made this sound even at low volume during playback. Just an idea.. It seems a shame for you to go through the all the trouble of creating the content and having it be inaccessible to a portion of your potential viewers due to a fixable recording issue. All the best

      Thanks for your comments, I appreciate your thoughts. Having listened again to this and some of the other recordings, I can hear what you are saying about the S's etc. Although I don't think they're so sharp that they will bother most listeners, I can understand that some people will be more sensitive to this. I always use a 'pop shield' when I record and when the tracks are mixed and mastered we use 2 de-essers on them, but it may be that I'm sitting too close to the mic so I'll experiment with sitting a little further away in future. Sorry that this spoilt your enjoyment, but I am grateful for you taking the time to let me know about it. Hopefully now I'm aware of it I'll be able to avoid it in the future.

    Sir,आपके videos काफी मोटिवेशनल होते है। मैं पिछले 5 साल से IBS और piles से suffer कर रहा हूं।life काफी hectic ho गई थी।अप्र आपके videos से मैंने negativity और hyperthinking पर काफी काम किया और बहुत सुकून मिला।पर इन दोनों बीमारियों को ठीक करने में विजुअलाइजेशन प्रॉपर्ली नहीं कर पा रहा हूं।मुझे नहीं पता मुझे क्या visualize करना है परन्तु ठीक होने के लिए मेरी feelings बहुत strong है।अपने किसी ऐसे वीडियो का लिंक भेजे या उचित मार्गदर्शन करें।
