There are some guns that we get in for reviews that are so cool, we simply cannot send them back. In this video we feature 5 guns we bought after the review. They are...the HK MK23, HK SP5K PDW, Wilson Combat Protector, Korth NXS revolver, and Primary Weapons Systems MK116.
What is the 1911 Syndicate? We do a few things. We started out as a real estate company primarily targeted at serving the military/LE/shooting/hunting communities. Consider it our "day job" and we can serve you pretty much anywhere in the USA. Next we're a content producer. We kind of fell into it semi by accident, and here we are today. There's something so alpha about the MK23, that 20 years from now, it will STILL be considered a good combat gun. Would love to own one.
It’s a gun like the gp100, overbuilt with intent for reliability and durability over size. A sidearm built with the intent that potentially it may be required to serve as a main firearm.

lol my brother has one, feels like dog crap, we shot my 1911 right next to it, I have never seen cognitive dissonance like this before. It was like a glock 40 vs a 1911.. gross

Just ordered an Obsidian can for my two year old Mark 23, long overdue.
The $200 below MSRP price combined with a $200 credit for Rugged accessories made it the right time. Put the overall cost of the can package, two additional pistons (M16x1RH and 1/2x28), 9mm end-cap, tax stamp, and all fees at under $1k. That $200 credit on Rugged accessories ends today (3-31-22).
The Mark 23 is already a favorite of mine. Lobo's Ind adapter, SureFire X400U light/laser, three 17rd HK USA mags, genuine deployment case......
The can will fill the last empty pocket in the deploy case, and put it over the top.
The muzzle disciple at 6:52 was righteous.

Another great review. I’ve owned and sold many guns over the years, and it’s always great to hear which guns actually “wow” the reviewers and which ones are less than expected.

C-more serendipity sight for the Korth looks amazing and it’s a great red dot. Super huge field of view and you can change the MOA dot size easily
I will have a Mark 23 someday. Hopefully soon. After shooting one at a range years ago I just need it. It was the best shooting 45 I’ve ever shot. Like shooting a 9mm. The trigger was fantastic imo. Like a crisp smooth 1911 only with more travel obviously. Reliability that cannot be beat and has the same cool factor as something like a Deagle. Slap some 45 supers in that bad boy and it’s almost sorta kinda a Deagle lol.
Hell yes dude - don't give up on the goal. It took me a long time to being able to afford one, and I really second guessed buying a $2000+ pistol - just not really into expensive pistols.... I finally got one last year and no regrets - its fucking amazing. If I had to go out the door into the apocalypse - the most tested handgun in history is my sidearm.

I picked up a Mark 23 in Jan of 2020. Quickly became my favorite 45acp handgun. Eats 750 ft/lb muzzle energy 45 Super like a champ.
Will it fit an Osprey 45 can without blocking the new Surefire light/laser/IR ?
Have a Mark 23 with the matching KAC can myself. A lot of people don't even know what it is but boy do they never forget it after they shoot it.
Love just bringing it to the range to put a smile on someone's face that day.

I don't review guns but one I unexpectedly liked after renting was the FN FiveseveN pistol. It was just so unique and satisfying, so despite the high price, I had to have it.
I have the usp 45 tactical and absolutely love it.

Good video you're back and forth humor is always funny 🤣🤣🤣 For the longest time I wanted a Mk 23 & the MP5 but only the SD model however I found other options for both. But I always will like them because they are such classic firearms.
The Korth NXR is the number one revolver I'd like to add to my collection.

@@Chrisblau oh, trust me, I've put a ton of rounds through that gun over the years. In fact, it's technically the first centerfire handgun I ever owned! I only say technically because I bought 2 in the same transaction, but I went there only intending to buy the MK23. That gun is fantastic on the range! When it isn't strutting its 230gr booty, it lives in its own little plush apartment in my safe. I treat it like a queen and it rocks my world every time I take it for a ride! Maybe I should do a "just for fun" video shooting it next range day...

@@1911syndicate I think the ACRO would fit nicely. I understand not putting a dot on older style guns but the Korth has that sexy, modern look. Besides how much did you spend on it? Factoring in the dot at that point should be a must and it's just a nice cherry on top too. But even I'm a tax bracket too low to even give meaningful input lol I just think if your gonna enjoy something like that, enjoy the shit out of it.
If you like Korth AND 1911, you should check out their PRS Automatic line. The parts are so finely machined, it will make you orgasmic.
Dude, in your _Pimp My MP5_ you should really look at the Midwest Industries handguard with an A3 Tactical vfg. Absolutely lovely on an mp5k
To that one guy whining about the PPK, the newer ones have extended beaver tails, so the hand slicing thing isn't as bad as on the old Interarms ones. Also, if you go with the PPK/S 22lr version, they actually lowered where your hand sits on the gun, so even though you don't have the extended beavertail you're effectively lower under the slide, so no bite.
All very sound choices, couldn’t afford the Wilson at the moment, got the Dan Wesson specialist in 9mm instead.
That sp5 is absolutely magnificent ... it definitely is on my wish list

I have some fantastic news for you both. You are hardcore revolver guys. You just don't know it. Revolvers have removable grips and there are several custom grip makers that can make you whatever size and shape you want. I am a grip snob too. Welcome to the revolver guy club.

@@Chrisblau I can't speak for him, but I got mine recently with a TLR-2 HLG (GG&G adapter). In three months I've put about 1000 rounds through it, and I absolutely love it. I've taken the MK23 out so much lately, my full-size Beretta feels small in my hands. I don't own any other high-end handguns, and I'm definitely not a competitive shooter or anything like that. I mean, there are certainly many other handguns that would have been a more "practical" purchase over the MK23, especially given my general lack of experience. However, there are two reasons why I'm a happy customer; I've been a Metal Gear fan for 20 years, and I drive tacks with the MK23.

After shooting a full-auto MP5SD, I wholeheartedly concur with the assertion that everyone should love and want/own one.
Truth
I dont like the MP5, but the few issues I have with it go out the window with the SD. I will compromise a lot to get an integral suppressor.

Really like the fact that you’re left handed and add your perspective in on that. Not sure if anyones brought it up or you thought about it but I have a Kriss Vector. And I like the fact that if you put buttstock to buttstock with an M4 then the ejection port is a few more inches further away from my face. The manual of arms is different yes but would be worth a review from you being another lefty

There's a lot of modifiers that can change someone's experience. Ammo, muzzle devices, grips. I shot an mp5 and it kinda sucked. Will always prefer auto ak74 or scorpion. M3 also sucked.

I dont like the MK23 as a concept. But dont get me wrong, the military asked and HK delivered it exactly as they requested. The HK MK23 is the best outcome of that project.
