@@DVontayFriga I think the whole ending would have been more gratifying and felt more fair if it was a 4-man 1v1 tournament with Syd, Ed, Alex, and Trey. And each one best of 3. Syd getting knocked out because a 3v3 didn't feel right. Or if Trey, Alex, and Ed had been knocked out because that 3v3 that would have felt even worse

Since he spent his time doing this, it was obviously worth it to him (or he would’ve done something else). Every man has to stand on his own two.

People may be wondering, “how is there 10,000 on the line and no ref.” The ref shows up for the final game (thankfully) but please understand something. We were supposed to film this outside with a huge crowd and it got rained out. With the last minute thinking of my team and I, we call the owner of hoop tech and we all drove there with this being our final day of production. AND The refs, instead of going to the back up gym ended up going home. I called my friend Dan, who is a licensed ref and he can be seen towards to ends making every fair call. Therefore, if this was a question you might have had, I understand but at the end of the day I believe the game was fair and square and as long as the players did, nothing else matters 🙏🏽

I have so much respect for Alex and his game and was very fascinated with his talents from the first friga vid he was introduced way back when. With that being said, I'm glad Trey won this game. How Alex acted and treated PR when he beat him during this competition was classless and uncalled for. PR didn't deserve that even if he didn't deserve to win that matchup. There were a lot of sneaky but still kinda obvious travels by both players. 8:00 at the top of the key he takes like two steps before putting the ball down. And 9:15 in the post he switches his pivot foot a few times. They wouldn't call either in the NBA though. If they're gonna play like that fine but don't start trying to call it on each other in the third game! Both players did it a bunch anyway so it evened out in the end.

Damn what a matchup. Alex could have won that but experience prevailed. Trey got underneath Alex and put serious pressure on him,leaned on him, and made him try to make his moves from a completely vertical stance, negating speed and quickness mismatches. Good strategy on his part.

Best basketball CZcams video of the year. Point blank period. I will say I had my doubts about Alex, his attitude makes you forget about much of a bucket he is when he gets hot. He just needs to get out of his head and just hoop. Man Trey is him. I knew from the jump he was the best hooper in the gym. And he continued to prove it. His mindset reminds me a lot of friga “stay motivated and stay positive” don’t listen to outside noise, don’t let the bad calls get to you just hoop. And honestly the basketball gods were on his side today. It might not have looked like it for a while but when you hoop with as much respect as someone like Trey or Friga the payout is always that much more worth it

Alex deserves at least 5k for that performance lol. I remember a previous Friga video saying he was 5'9, but he looks like he might be even shorter than that. At his height, to have a former NBA player like Trey to be wrap up fouling the way he was and working so hard for every bucket just shows how talented and tough Alex is. Very impressive performance from both these guys and it made for an exciting 3 game series.

Trey legitimately travels almost every single time he gets the ball. His first step is almost always a shuffle. He uses an extra step on the pivot before dribbling. He takes an extra step on step backs to adjust his feet to be square. Honestly amazing that Alex almost won despite that and pretty annoying that the dude reffing missed so many egregious walks
