Editing Journey:
Back to the Future is one of my favorite movie franchise. So its no surprise I made Back To The Future 4 dream trailer. Last time I made one was 3 years ago and it did well. Finally I got inspired to make another one, this time with Tom Holland as Marty McFly and Robert Downey Jr as Doc. I was worried the trailer would not be realistic because most of their films are known. It was indeed challenging, because I don’t have a clear plot yet. But the fresh Back To The Future clips from fan films inspire me. Using a.i it was possible to made Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. talk about time traveling. I started the trailer showing Marty and Doc inventing time machine using a mini version of the DeLorean.
I showed hover board as one of the elements of Back to the Future. I made Tom say “Doc you just invented Time Travel”. Then Robert says “Marty we have to go to the past to save the future”. Thanks to Ready Player One we get cool action scenes from a DeLorean. I made Tom drive it. I think the idea of King Kong being in it make sense to the plot how its about our main characters fixing the reality because it has gone crazy since they started time travelling. I think showing the original Doc and Marty less is more realistic since they are too old to have more scenes if there was a real Back to the Future 4. “I don’t think this is a good idea Doc” line from Marty to build the line for Doc to say “Future is whatever you make it!” One of the cool things about the trailer is the thumbnail, which I did by editing Tom Holland’s face on a guy wearing a red jacket. I agree with the choice of Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr as Marty and Doc for Back to the Future 4.
