- Another quick video on how to remove the rear view mirror from a 2023-24 and I'm sure a 2025 model year Honda HR-V. You just have to pull a certain way for each plastic cover, not hard, just pry carefully.

Just finished putting it back together checked how long it took (no tools) less than 10 minutes and a couple of those were spent looking under the seat for the black plastic piece that originally went flying.

I can only say that you need to follow the video. Im sorry if it sounds vague..the mirror can be pulled off with no problems... reinstalling it is just matching the knobs and just turning it. If I didnt answer the question, then I dont know what else to say.

Thats fair. BUT. in my defense. You cant do it with one hand. 🤪🤪🤣🤣. I show you HOW to do it AFTER, yes. But filming with one and working with another, yaaaaa, doesnt work sometimes. Ironically enough, I find it super easy to remove, and I do explain on how. But either way, valid point with a valid explanation. Listen to how I yell you to remove it. Hondas are great taking apart and putting back together. I have faith in you, its not hard, dont over think it. Your welcome.
